Used to be my tipple. Was a lovely pint. Now destroyed like most of our brewing heritage. Saw a pump with Inde Coop Burton Ale on in Wetherspoons a few years back. Tasted nothing like it. Bland as hell.

This version looks like the pale ale that was said to have gone out of style in the 1890's. I've been researching what I can find of the Burton's history as a home brewer. The #1 Burton that later came to be known as a barleywine is my next go.

Anyone knows when this was produced? Am getting early 80s vibes but I'm not the best judge of dating things

I think it was brewed in the late 70's or maybe 1980.
