    I started using a cousin for tasks personal and work, and habit tracking this year and it’s so great to have everything in one book.

    i love this. I color code my tasks based on certain life categories, so mine is definitely more colorful. I have been finding washi tapes and stickers a bit distracting, so I rarely use them lately. This was a good reminder for me that I don't need all that stuff.

    This video and its simplicity was much needed! Thank you. Planning shouldn’t be hard…I am making the choice to switch from digital back to pen/paper. I was a nervous wreck because in digital it was like it had to be perfect and it drove me nuts..that will be the hardest for me. I enjoyed decorating around my plans and if I didn’t like I could easily change it as well as easily change my plans as things came up. But I just found it was so fussy…I have ordered a hobo 2025 and a cover to feel special❤wow expensive lol! I am using pencil and pen once it comes in…would like to make an inbox section of some sort in case things change. I’m currently mapping out how I plan to use monthly spreads, weekly and then he daily. I’m looking for a few accessories yes as far as washi and maybe some stickers for things to decorate because I still want some sort of fun

    Are you still using a “Field Notes” as a sort of “Inbox” and when going out? Or did you find a way to bring the Hobonichi with you easily?
    Thank you so much for your videos!

    I am going to start my first Hobonichi Cousin for 2025 because of a new job and since I also have to carry it to the office I am thinking of getting the avec 😅 will you continue in 2025?

    I got excited looks like a nice journal. But then I saw the prices, around 50-80 euroes. Thats insane prices for a paper journal:/ Too bad..

      Yeah, that's because they originally come from Japan. The oaper is of a high quality as well, so both factors explain the high prices in both the EU and US. Amazon seems to be the most reasonable atm, but I agree, it is a pricey planner

      @@asheirahs_nookI find them more expensive on Amazon (living in Europe) than ordering directly on the Hobonichi website 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Hi I see you’re back in the hobonichi cousin since last year. So are you using this alongside travelers journals. Hobonichi for task event to do management and travelers more of a journal or specific journal for traveling, specific subjects, junk ephemera, common placing, etc. That is what I’m thinking for mine as I have both hobonichi and travelers systems. Although I’ve been lazy and haven’t started the junk journals with ephemera journaling or common place notes as yet. But I’ve set them up and they’re ready to go for specific things. I enjoy watching your videos. I can’t believe it’s almost time to start thinking about 2025. Last year I definitely over did it on collecting travelers, sterling ink, and hobonichi in different sizes. Next year I’m going to focus on getting less - a hobonichi a5 or a6 and a sterling ink dated monthly booklet for my purse. I’ve got enough travelers inserts collected so unless I want the standard size weekly horizontal booklet I should be ok. I didn’t use everything I bought last year but I would have no problem repurposing them for notes or common place books.

    I don’t think this was explained in the video, but is using a 2023 hobonichi in 2024 confusing?

    • @KaitlinGrey
      @KaitlinGrey  4 месяца назад +2

      Yes! So I was using my old 2023 cousin to test out the book. Since this video I’ve ordered a 2024 version from jet pens so I can have the correct dates. It wasn’t super confusing since I use the daily pages the most, but the weekly and monthly spreads definitely threw me off
