This kind of insight and analysis has had a significant impact on pros hitting the ball longer, just as ball technology, club technology and player fitness have.
I know this might sound silly but, anyway… I subscribed to your channel March 2015. I picked up the game 6 months before that. I have a background in sciences and maths , so stats, numbers, forces, trajectories, etc. are up my alley, so to speak. Since then, I have accrued so much knowledge thanks to you, mainly, that it’s unreal. Golf teachers always ask me how the hell I know that much 😅. And then I watch this video and I think “I really know nothing, do I?” If only I could play to the level I know, I would be playing off scratch or so by now 😂 All this to say: thank you very much for sharing such an insightful content, keep it up!
Oh man... this is next level tech stuff to improve! Here's me thinking when im over the ball "please just hit it!" LOL...thats my swing thought, never mind torque on the right foot! Great vid!
So how much over stress and pressure are you feeling in your right knee? And subsequently in other parts of your body in the coil / uncoil. Will you need to got additional conditioning like when you ween for the faster swing speed? Looks like a really decent lesson. Look forward to seeing more parts if there are any
Would think it's related to how the info translates to his personal "feels" - and to help us folks watching said lesson. Found it riveting and edifying.
Maybe if I help with what you are actually watching. You are watching two “experts” who use tech that only a few people have in the world share their understandings. I have tour player after tour player data using both parts of this tech. Remember if you have a lesson and the coach says swing more to the right and you hit better shots then that cool if you hit better shots. What this tech does is allow us to not have to guess and simply change. Hope that helps
@@MarkCrossfield Measurement and feedback give one the opportunity to decide - for one's own personal situation - whether and how much effort to put into attempting a change. Then, test and see if it's for you. If you don't measure, you're only guessing, and possibly wasting effort.
It looks to me like at your address position just RELAX your right forearm and let your elbow gently touch your rib. This promotes taking the club back with your elbow in a better position up to the top of your backswing as you rotate your upper body. Just sayin'.........MG
@@MarkCrossfield This would help keep your (right) elbow closer to your body and reduce any tendency towards a "flying elbow" at the top of your swing. Try it!!
@@vegaspony It generally leads to inaccurate shots as the tendency is to push the club rather than pull it (unless the player is good enough to get the elbow tucked back next to the body ASAP on the downswing). There are good players (think: Nicklaus) who let their elbow get away somewhat at the top of their backswing, but (as in his case) they have to be really strong with their left side maintaining control of the club as they start down. Also - the above setup helps keeps the swing plane on track (and thus it helps simplify the swing).

Great to be a fly on the wall listening to lesson conversation!
Another fantastic Video Mark
Had a lesson there - they are great. Yes it costs money but the best lesson I’ve ever had. Will try and go again soon
Awesome… It’s just so good to see how you’re growing because it’s a benefit for our own growth as well! Thanks for bringing us inside the ropes Mark!
Would love to know what your scoring average has changed to with all these improvements

I'll be interested to see how much distance you gain Mark, but also if your knee goes out or low back gets messed up.
Is there a video somewhere explaining the basics of how to read the graph ?

Well done mark 👏
Did this change something at impact? club head speed, consistency of strike? and what have you seen since reducing your right arm bend? Thx

what would be different for more of a front post player?
When you’re a kid and slide along the kitchen floor. Hmm that sounds like a cheeky dig at Lockey to me 😂
Good Lord
I long way from "tuck a towel under your arms", then do the "Gary Player walk through"!😮😅
Haha
LOL, the background guys are in full body guard mode with their arms folded
Wear the cap the right way round!!!!! Haha
This looks like an easy way for the weekend golfer to injury himself.
The two cross armed judgemental looking dudes in the back would drive me mad!
It's funny how when you use factual measurements, two different coaches both want to encourage the same ideas😊
How can you get a golf lesson and still talk more that the guy that's teaching you 🤔
He's got you there MC!

🤣🤣🤣🤣👏🏾
It’s edited and he wants to share his takeaways. 🤷♂️
If you use any more down force, the world could tilt off it's axis.
With the announcement of another golfer tuber releasing golf merchandise. Can you make merchandise with random Lou Stagner style stats?
We need the official Mark Crossfield Big Frames!
I love golf, but I don't love this. I'd be surprised if tour professionals are taking it to this extreme.
