The total eclipse 11/8/1999 Cornwall (where I live) was the most unique experience ever! I was initially so disappointed when it rained but in all honesty it didn’t matter. The absolute madness of the seagulls followed by absolute silence was something I can’t describe and will never forget!
I also think gaia communicates with us directly. For example I get the "urge" to drink green teas and go on a health binge from time to time. Nothing major, just a handful of rosehips, ginger and nettles in a tea. Happens spontaneously, and those of us who read these signs will be spared and looked after I'm sure of it
My daddy's birthday (80th) is on April 8th so I'll tell him about the eclipse, he's into astronomy. I remember watching Patrick Moore as a child with him "The Sky at Night". Good show there Thomas ☘️🇮🇪🫠

Sheridan and Morris are the 2 best broadcasters in Ireland at the moment.. with John waters coming in a close 3rd.. Sheridan and morris's positivity and humour give then the edge imo.
I know of a man who lived in siberia for some time and tells the story of the animista who swigs bottles of vodka while going into and while in a trance dance and wears a long coat with iron bits and bobs attached to it. He said when he comes back out of the trance dance he is completely sober. He told him that its the spirits who want the vodka!

Great talk Thomas. i like meditating it teaches me to not to let the mind in the driver seat and i love doing it out in nature. i think i learned this naturally being raised in rural Donegal and always being immersed in the rugged wild landscape and walking in the landscape of ancient stones and symbols. its hard to explain you just feel the depth of it within your own being. you know you belong to it and it belongs to you. i think that is what a lot of these ancient philosophies are trying to express and a god concept takes us away from that.

I had a dream about meeting a shapeshifter. He was a military guy or a head of security type figure who took me for questioning. He was a maori guy and turned from.being calm to screaming in my face. When I didn't flinch he turned into a big black dog. I communicated that I knew of what he was, a shapeshifter and I wasn't afraid. After the that the mood changed and he was joined by two others, all back in their human form Where I sat and talked with them. Very strange dream. Brilliant VON. In regard to Haiti, I often discussed religion and cultural practices with a friend of mine who grew up there on the island. I would tell him that the Ireland I grew up in was about 90% Catholic. He would then say that 'Haiti was likewise about 90% Christian....and 100% VOODOO!!' with a big laugh. He was deadly serious however about the absolute power of voodoo on the island, bubbling away under the surface of the Christian veneer.

Great vlog Thomas! We are central Canada and I already purchased eclipse glasses for the family, keeping the littlest one home from school for this one. We don't really get snow days anymore, not as much snow with the climate changing here and he will be thrilled for a day off watching the phenomenon. You mention the eclipse ends in Galicia, Spain. My great grandmother used to say they came from an area in eastern Europe on the map that is present day Ukraine - she called it Galicia. A lot is being said about red heifers in Israel. Talk of a sacrifice on the site of or near the Al Aqsa Mosque and The Second Temple been rebuilt. Hamas issued a statement stating that the reason for the attack in Israel on October 7th was that Jews brought heifers from Texas to Israel. The attack was called the Al Aqsa wave. This story could run and run. Interesting times.

Burrowing is a surprisingly common behaviour, insects do it, reptiles do it, birds, mammals… pretty much every major group has representatives that dig underground, whether to live there on a permanent basis, to hibernate, or raise young in a safe environment. The advantages are many; other than shelter from predators it is a way to ride out unfavourable seasonal weather, as burrows stay cool in summer and warm in winter. And, as Martin argues, burrows dramatically shift the odds of surviving mass extinctions. It seems that animal lineages with burrowers have time and again lived through times of upheaval, as exemplified by our mammal lineage that is still here after the K-T mass extinction. It is safe to say that burrowing animals are an ecological force that have terraformed the planet. Finally, no animal burrows alone. Apart from other species profiting from abandoned burrows on an ad-hoc basis, burrows are microcosms unto themselves with unique communities of smaller organisms living in burrows or constructing their own tunnel systems branching off from them.
