I hope this is not too out of character, if it is please forgive me, I just wanted to make a comic about the idea of them owning something like engagement rings!

Bold of you to assume Crowley doesn’t go full snake brain and has a collection of pretty rings he’s been collecting over the years
Crowley miracles a full sack of flour(?) into his arms, “Fucking finally.” He exclaimed, leaning his head to the side to look at his angel, the sack jingled as he did so.
Odd.
“Here.” Crowley emptied the bag in front of him, rings and rings upon a mountain of rings piled infront of him, “take your pick.” He threw the now empty bag away, crouched down and started sifting through the mountain of rings, “Where’s the bastard…” he muttered away, “Ah ha! Here!” He smiles to himself before he flicks it over to Aziraphale, who catches his clumsily.
The angel gasped when he looked at the ring, (can’t think of an important ring rn, just imagine that it’s pretty fucking important) he doesn’t know what to say, the prolonged silence made Crowley start to panic, internally sweating bullets at this point while trying to keep his cool, calm demeanour, “I mean, er, if you don’t like it, here!” He squats, scooping up the rings, some well most, fall as he stands which made it even more embarrassing for the serpent, he gives up letting the rings drop to the floor and puts his hands on his hips “Just, take them all!”
The angels just looks at him and smiles, (we all know that fucking look, the one he gives after “lift home?”, after Crowley miracles the stain away, etc, etc. We all know the fucking look.)

my favorite part about good omens videos like these is the comments section. everyone going feral being like "THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD HAVE ENDED!!!" I love the sense of community and bonding through our suffering

It's ok. It WILL end this way, just not in this season.
I agree that we all wanted it to end like this, but the current ending is more in line with the book that Neil wrote with Sir Terry Pratchett.
The ending we got is the ending in line with the original characterizations, and I personally want to see where Neil takes that. For this kind of stuff, we always have fanfiction.

"It ends, as it started, in a garden" Crowley and Azi having a wedding in the back garden of the cottage in the South Downs, a hand fasting ceremony done by Anathema with all their found family there (from seasons 1 and 2) and up on the branch of a tree a Nightingale starts to sing.....❤❤❤❤❤❤

Engagement rings were like gold teeth, an investment in times of trouble. The ring could be sold if the husband left or died just like a gold tooth paid for the deceased’s coffin and burial.

To me, Aziraphale's "nothing lasts forever" meant that he didn't mind leaving the bookshop, if he could be with Crowley in heaven. Of course, the phrase was misunderstood and everything went overboard💔
