      Glad to hear! I was wondering if you did the trip last year. Looks like it's been moved?

    Are you still on a steel Salsa Vaya? Any vids on your current steed?

    Fantastic and thanks for the upload! It's nice keeping up with your tour. One suggestion: your voice level is very low but the music was very loud; if you could master those out so they're a consistent volume that would be appreciated!

      Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely make adjustments to all future videos.

    Johnny, how do you navigate, paper maps or electronic maps or both? Many thanks and keep the videos coming. Tony

      Combination of maps and Google. If maps are not available, I use Google for optimized bicycle routes. Of course, you take that with a grain of salt. Ride With GPS helps as well since they have bicycle ready routes.

    I notice you always ride on the hoods, do you ever use the drops? If not, have you considered a flat bar conversion?

      It's funny that you bring this up as I am in the middle of converting my drops to Velo Orange Crazy Bar. Stay tuned for the swap!
      As far as riding on the drops, I actually do ride in it but that brings the camera angle lower so you won't get to see anything but the ground. Footage of me on the drop would not make entertaining content so I've edited those out.

      Milestone Rides That's just nuts, some might even say crazy. I've been kicking around a shortened MTB bar with Ergonomic grips and bar ends. I wanted to like drop bars but I just don't feel stable in the drops on descents and the brakes from the hoods seem to be soft.

    How many hours did you ride a day? It took you more than one month, which seems a bit long.

      This was a part of an Adventure Cycling tour that I led. We were on a set schedule and not traveling on our own free will. I usually ride about 6 hours a day.

    Where is the extended version?

      @Milestonerides  5 лет назад

      Sorry. No extended version but you could watch the other 2 videos when I started in Chicago. Like I said, I didn't film as much as I should.
