I was there with my parents in 1956. I had no knowledge of the OK Corral at that time. I returned in 1997 on my own, and was fascinated by the town. Haven't been back since.
When you go to tombstone and go to boot hill cemetery there are so many unmarked graves because so many people died in route in the desert and they didn’t have IDs to know who they were back then.
The gunfight was actually in the alley next to the rear of the OK Corral and CS Fly's photography studio. Tucson newspapers didn't like the sound of..... "The gunfight in the alley off Fremont street next to the photgraphy guys place"...."Gunfight at the OK Corral" sounded better, so that's what it became.... ;)
Interesting presentation, nice photos of Allen and Fremont Streets. Is Tombstone Haunted? According to an acquaintance, Yep! And He further commented, Tombstone is the most haunted place he's ever been to. As for myself, no paranormal experience there. Only the Birdcage was open, got to walk around at night and no one was there, except_________, anyway the saying is, If You Drink Enough Spirits, Sooner or Later You Are Bound To See One, I'm guessing that's what maybe happened to my then traveling aquaintence..
My wife and I visited Tombstone in March 2018. It was fantastic and a must visit for Western fans!

This is a wonderful documentary, thank you.

The gunfight actually took place in the street, not the alley.

I was a little confused at first when it said Tombstone was in Conscience County. Try maybe Cochise County. Like the famous Apache chief?
Yep, great video. Very informative. Wish I had watched it before I visited Tombstone. When I went there, I found a tourist trap.
Well of course it is a tourist destination now. If you know the history, you can look beyond the "tourist trap" decoration...
omg what county?
its pronounced "Co cheece" good job
So full of inaccuracies.
