The blotting sheets saved my skin when I worked mostly in the kitchen at a restaurant. It was so greasy and steamy in the kitchen and you would see ORANGE on the blotting sheets from the grease. When I started usinng them, I stopped breaking out as much.
None of these have worked in my case. I am still using 10% niacinamide, 0.3% retinol, green tea toner, zinc PCA and salicylic acid in face wash, salicylic acid in serum too. But nothing is working. It's been months of using them already.
For the broke girlies (or if u don't want to spend the money), u can use tissues or toilet paper as blotting papers, just like how in the video Felicia mentioned to use tissues or toilet paper to blot off extra oils before sunscreen!
@@daikonbiss6357 I tired it and for light makeup it works fine and for heavy makeup it does move the foundation alitle but you can settle it with you finger after applying it
does applying a primer or makeup over sunscreen end up wiping some of it off/reducing protection? would love to see an experiment about this with UV cameras. I've asked other people but have had no answer. Please make a video about this pleeeeeeeeease hahhah
Saw your review on Innisfree no sebum powder and immediately went online to purchase it (Current limited edition is Kuromi packaging❤). Have been using Canmake marshmallow powder for the longest time and it’s time for me to have a change 😊.
13:54 this is the first time I've seen the Nudestix blur stick (is that the name? I don't remember lol) mentioned or used, I bought it in the summer but I don't think I use it right... Maybe now tho! Love every video I've watched from you guys and my first stop/go-to for when I'm in research mode lol Thanks for all the amazing content❤ -Renee
I know this is a personal question, but are you currently taking hormones or anything? I also have hormonal acne also and every month it’s a game of trying to get rid of the dark spots. Would going on hormones make any difference? Help
Is there any products with those three oils already mix together in it? Or will I just have to buy them individually because I get super shiny and oily on my nose and right next to my nose on my cheeks?
Hi! I really love ur videos! I discovered ur channel today and I am absolutely obsessed! I am 12 years old and my skin is really dry BUT the skin on my nose is oily, so I don’t know what products to get for my skin, products for dry skin or for oily skin? ❤
1:05 till today I have heard niacinamide, retinol, salicylic acid, zinc PCA and green tea for sebum reduction. I have tried all of them. I am still using 10% niacinamide serum, 0.3% retinol, green tea toner, salicylic acid. But none has ever worked for me.
The Gatsby oil blotting paper is a holy grail for me! I also just got the Haruharu sunscreen after watching your last sunscreen video :3 Can't wait to check out some of the other products!
@@lonelyboyxo oil control cleanser/face wash. I have many of them. I bought multiple face washes/cleansers in the hope of getting oil control. I alternate between depending on my mood and what I think my skin requires. They have salicylic acid, mandelic acid, zinc PCA. Then I use a green tea toner followed by a 10% niacinamide serum. Then a apply a sunscreen skipping a moisturiser. I apply only a moisturiser when the weather is rainy or too cloudy/overcast.
@@lonelyboyxo at night I am using 0.3% retinol. Sometimes salicylic acid 2% serum. I now don't even apply a moisturiser after the serum because even 0.3% retinol is not able to dry my skin.
I don’t know why but nowadays my skin is really confusing me. If I use products to control my oil, my skin becomes extra dry and flaky but if I use moisturising products, I break out.
thanks for this video!! I just wanted to ask sunscreen always makes my skin soo oily and where I live it's so humid all the time it makes it even worse.. can anyone suggest some tips on what I can do about it?
Maybe jump the moisturizing step and only apply a sunscreen. I love the one from skin1004 and from what i read about it people who live in humid area also rave about it. You could also ask ur question in a subreddit about skincare for more opinions.

this channel is really underrated, hope this year your subscribers double.
Let's not forget about green tea, niacinamide and zinc pca - these too are superheroes that help us in the 'sebum regulation' fight 😊

Funny enough, cigarette paper also works really well!
this video is a lifesaver!! I took so many screenshots of the products lol
I really recommend the beauty of Joseon SPF 50 stick bc it mattes the skin so good and make sit look so fresh and also bc it has SPF protection
Does it take off makeup ?

But where will the oil of the skin go? On the sunscreen stick? Won't it because very dirty and full of sebum after some uses?

Are you layering all of them at once? And do you have other recommendations for the azelaic acid as the products you mentioned aren’t available 😢
I absolutely love your videos and they have helped my son so much so could you do a video like this but for combination skin.
Bioderma sebaum H2O masala water. Caudalie mattifying moisturizer. Supergoop under screen sunscreen.
Hi, what foundation do you use?
One word: Niacinamide ✨️
Why 10% niacinamide serum isn't working for me in sebum reduction? It's many months already. What's wrong?
@gouranganeog6035 what's your morning routine?
