Baker's Chatcast Series 7 Episode 4: Race Across the World's Betty & James!

Hello! Welcome back for another installment of 'Baker's Chatcast'.
Today's episode is a very exciting one that I'm very happy to give and that's because I welcome on Betty & James on for a chat who are currently contestants on the BBC hit series Race Across the World!
I'm a huge fan of Race Across the World and after speaking with Zainib & Mobeen last year, I was excited to hear what Betty & James had to say.
We start by talking about all of the attention that they have been receiving after the show started 6 weeks ago, I then ask them what was it that persuaded them to take part in the race and if it was a joint decision.
We then delve into all of the talk about this current series Race Across the World (which is currently 5 episodes in at our point of talking!). We talk all about travelling through the likes Japan, South Korea, and Thailand, exploring all of the different cultures and meeting new people, how long it really takes to get from checkpoint to checkpoint, enjoying the moments away from the race, managing the budget for the race and so much more.
