looks pretty cool. was the water cold at night? and what happens if you touched a manta ray?
Water was a little cold, why we had wet suits. You're nto supposed to touch them, apparently it messes up their mucous coating.
Manta Adventures probably explained it, but the reason you should not touch the Mantas is because they have a protective 'slime' coating. Touching them removes the mucous coating, which then compromises their immune system, making them susceptible to disease, and as you know, our tourists have cooties! ;)
Yeah they said it ! I was far to afraid to touch them anyways, it's quite intimidating, they're HUGE.

Yeah, the Go Pro Hero 5 killed it.
In your opinion, significantly better than the Hero 4? We upgrade our kit every October and we're undecided as to DSLR upgrades or Gopro upgrades this time.
Never tried the Hero 4.. but i love the Hero 5 a lot. So i'd see if it's worth it or wait for the next one. But i was bike riding yesterday and doing voice signals, on and off, not sure if hero 4 has that.

Here Be Barr we have to wait until mid January - that's how long it takes to do all the shots and paperwork and animal testing according to the strict Hawaii laws so our dog doesn't end up spending 4 months in quarantine . So we are patiently waiting 🐶💜
Until then enjoy the vlogs. i have 3 more coming out before I leave, then 1 or 2 "tips" videos where i go back and sync all my clips. Then back to NYC and around the world again :)
