as a chinese, i can surely tell you there is not this model or any lite model exist in China. lite is not mate seris or p seris product line. maybe another cheap model , but there is no lite for mate or p seris
Umer Salman I KNOW RIGHT! I’m upgrading from iP6 before I use to always go with Samsung but now there’s just too many options I’m going with Huawei P20 pro hopefully it’s good choice
Just to calm down all the angry people in the comments, this is the mate 20 LITE. The budget version of the mate 20. And there'll be both the mate 20 and the mate 20 pro. You can fully expect all the crazy stats on the pro - triple cam set up, kirin 980, 6gb ram etc. Don't criticise this phone based on your expectations for a flagship
bought this like last week , i mean what else do you need though if you are not into games (dont need any heavy processor or RAM) ... it has decent camera and its fast with great looks. I always have been an iphone person , but i broke the screen recently and replacing the full screen was freaking expensive and i could just happily spend little bit more cash for this phone .... easy trade was it ! So far loving this phone !

Im still using this same phone in 2023 here. Its still a very powerful and useful and good phone. Just had gotten the latest emui 12 updatr wich is very suprising. edit: the emui 12 update sucks and now its slow as hell and the battery teleports to 0 at 22%
Love really Huawei which provide good quality phone with reasonable price. As the mobile technology changes so fast. It is no worth to pay so much for a phone which will be updated in 3 years. All my family has switch from iPhone to huawei. Now it is my turn. This phone has met all my expectation and I will definitely go for it.

To be honest, a loooot of Huawei phones are slight updates/tweaks on existing handsets. When you factor in the Honor phones too, things get a wee bit confusing!

The price difference is too high for it to compete with phones like 7X, Mate10 lite, P-smart and no real upgrades imo
I love the gold platinum one but is the Mate 20 Lite it worth waiting for?
