I really enjoyed Timothy Samara's books. Also one of my all-time favorites is Universal Principles of Design by William Lidwell. Then also:
Adrian Shaughnessy - How to be a graphic designer, without losing your soul
Thinking, Fast and Slow by Kahneman
Steve Krug - Don’t make me think
Don Norman - Design of Everyday Things

I was about to message you on Twitter when I didn't see any of your updates on RUclips for 2 weeks before dropping your previous video

yeah I was taking a break :) thought a lot about what might be the best way to deliver value for you guys and I think this podcast format might help. Sometimes it's better to just explain and you don't necessarily need to see my screen for that :D cheers

i'm a Canadian physician learning design on the side and feel like I actually got a lot of value from your walkthroughs. I've tried many other formats. I pause and make notes with screen shots. I think you could do small gifs with written transcript format and it would really work well. @@mavidesign
