Odd I think you've seem to forgotten the significant impact of burning in regards to the Assassin. In the earlier episodes of this campaign, I can recall Petrol reeking havoc on the Assassin cos she couldn't do most of her abilities. I think you should carry incendiary rounds or an incendiary bomb in the future whenever the Assassin (or Hunter, but I'm not sure about the Warlock) appears.
i have been watching the chimera playthrough from 4 years ago. I dont know what the moding comunity has done with that but a slightly modded chimera playthrough would be a nice quick season to change things up. Thanks for all the content.
Every mission lately seems crazy, that's just awesome (at least to me as a viewer)! I finished watching this one the next day it came up, so I can already check out the next one so let's go! Lots of thanks for the epic battle against the aliens!!! 😁
The LeBlancs Combo is finally happening! However, I am pretty sure next mission will be a failed one, it is a tradition at this point Anyway, good luck, Commander!
3:55 😂Well, since you're clearly using reverse psychology to encourage engagement, here's my 6-part dissertation on how we can be better backseat gamers-
I'm pretty sure the issue with Cyclic Fire doing less damage than expected is that the Assassin takes extra damage starting from the third "attack" that hits, not the third shot. Cyclic counts as one attack, so you needed to land two other attacks before using it for bonus damage. Sometimes it's important to read the exact words of stuff to figure out how it works, but it's a really easy thing to overlook in this situation because it would make sense for each shot to count as a seperate attack for bewildered triggering. And of course I end up typing this before you figure it out later in the video. All well, it's a good reminder I guess. Overall still a pretty impressive job cleaning up after things went a bit bad there.

"Doc" has worked his way up to 4th in KPM and 2nd in DPM, while also securing 4th in EAS. Only one top spot has changed hands in this block, the ongoing merry-go-round that is the Total Damage list, with Ines "Hija de la Oscuridad" Contreras reclaiming the lead at 1511 while neither of her closest competitors were active. Otherwise, all is quiet on the leaderboard front, with Dacnis "Knightfather" Joyeuse still just short of the century mark in Total Kills (98), Blanka "Duchess" Meszaros holding her own as the only soldier to break the 5 KPM mark, and Lyusa "Snow Queen" Kuznetsov crushing the field in DPM by more than 30 (109.38). Calibos "Mayuri" Kraken continues to lead in both Accuracy (94.03%) and EAS (+5.82), while previous Accuracy champ Anna "Tourist" Carpenter has plummeted, going a horrendous 14 for 23 (60.87%) with a -2.41 EAS over her last two missions. Also a special shoutout to Asa "Rapunzel" Brouwer, who has held the Unsung award (most damage dealt per kill) since all the way back to ep. 40. Following a classically "Rapunzel" mission on ep. 108, where she hit every shot she fired for 83 damage but no kills, her DPK now sits at a staggering 28.89. This is nearly 6 points ahead of any other soldier, and makes her one of only four eligible soldiers (notably, all cannon users) with a DPK over 20. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MEfLH7i1aA_s64smLJQLgOz3yULjJem-HfnwObtMqME/edit?usp=sharing

@@CharlieNoodles Exactly. I can explain the whole formula for EAS if people want (it's also in the Key and Rules tab of the spreadsheet), but essentially it's just a measure of "how much is this soldier hitting the shots they're supposed to" or "how lucky/unlucky has this soldier been".
You split your focus between Advent and the Chosen meaning you dealt less damage to each side and their numbers benefitted them more. Try to hit one contingent hard then focus on the other.
Seriously with p's missing it's brutal. Hair Trigger is the new Bayonet. For those that remember that season. :D
Oh yeah. 🙄
Oprah: You get a hair trigger and you get a hair trigger. Everyone gets a HAIR TRIGGER!!!!
Just an easy tip Odd. If the word "mech" is anywhere in the enemy name it takes bluescreen damage.
Ex. Mechtoid, and Mechapede
Tribal Chief really wanted that medical time-off.
Edit: The LeBlancs are in town! Though a MEC with a mechapede might be...potentially bad.
It will be instead just tagging sectoids with lost lures will be far more valuable
"assassin hits hard now" you're welcome for that one >:)
Good tweak suggestions!
The late campaign equipment possibly built on an economy of repeaters and hair triggers seems appropriate.
I think the commander forgot that the mechapede does potentially increased damage to mech soldiers
He also forgot that CTD rounds work great against shields 😢

To be fair, the "two shots" version (can't remember the name offhand) *is* two attacks, so it's easy to get confused on it.
