I just received my first Ellen Wille wig a few weeks ago. I had seen a review of Sandy Blonde Rooted and LOVED the color! It wasn’t too gold!🙌Well, once I received it, it was MUCH more gold than the review. (Unfortunately, I didn’t open the box for a couple of weeks, so when I did, I was shocked! I had never heard ANYTHING about this color code issue until now! THANK YOU SO MUCH for the help! I don’t understand why we haven’t been told all of this previously…..The Ellen Wille company should have told us!😮
Hi Tammy, whenever I order for example, Sandy Blonde Rooted from Ellen Wille I make sure the color code matches one that I already own that I enjoy so I know exactly what to expect. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for this. Ellen Willa colors are really confusing. But if you are looking for petite wigs, they have the vast majority of the selections. So very helpful.
Hi Margaret, I am so glad you found this helpful, all the color codes, names across collections, etc and be confusing but I hope this helps explain it a bit. Thanks for watching today, have a great weekend! xoxo
Understanding the numbers system used by wig manufacturers is crucial when choosing colors. I don’t understand not wanting to learn the color codes. It can take a lot of guesswork out of wig buying. Good informative videos, such as this one, helps us make good choices as well. Thank you for sharing with us what you’ve learned so that we too can be better educated. Love the blondes showcased in this video🫶🥰💋
Hi Nancy, I agree understand the color codes is crucial, especially with brands like EW that use the same names across collections. Thanks so much for watching today and for taking the time to leave a comment! xoxo
I am new to wig colors and codes and would LOVE to learn how to read all of the numbers associated with every wig brand! I have only worn RW’s Pale Golden Honey. Do you have any ideas on where to begin?
I love watching wig videos and I have yet to find "the one". Still kinda early in my journey. I believe there is so much added value in this type of info. It is providing a foundation for those of us considering alternative hair as a doable option. Wigs are not only for those of us that have lost hair, they seem to be helpful even for enjoyment. Just like using makeup, we feel better when we have a fresh face...:)
I am so glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful; I love that wigs are for everyone! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment!
Thank you Eileen for all the reviews you are doing on these wigs, what a great help it is for us newbies . I have my eye on Apart mono by Elan Wille, in your review you did not mention if it can be parted anywhere? Or how it fits,, I have a very small head just a tad smaller then yours, I presently where Coco by Elan Wille and it fits nicely although it will at times give me a headache. Also it seems that 99% of wigs have a left part, I have a right part, I tried to wear a left part but honestly it just doesn't make me feel myself so I'm looking at monos and hoping to find ones that are light and can be parted anywhere, I'm prone for headaches wearing anything on my head. I am slowly adjusting to this new life with wigs, I have very thin and fine hair and cannot cover the large cowlike I have in back of my head anymore, I keep my bio hair at 2in. so wigs are a solution for me. I dearly appreciate all your wonderful helpful reviews .
Hi, as I talked about in the beginning of the video this wasn't a review of the individual wigs, just a color discussion. I love Coco by Ellen Wille it is such an adorable style! Thanks for stopping by my channel today, watchings and leaving a comment! xoxo
Hi Eileen, I wear platin blonde rooted and pearl blonde rooted...In other words Hitcock Cool Blondes reminiscent of Grace Kelly, Eva Marie Saint in the '50's and 60's. I have that cool pink undertone in my skin, too. Also, I find these shades do not showcase age spots! I think I understand all but the placement of brighter whites in the numbered code. Can you please explain that. I prefer the white accent highlights to be near the crown, face, and in front. I do appreciate your take on this color coding, which for me is the most difficult to navigate on EW wigs. I am thinking about trying the new TASTE wig. I just bought a Touch, in Rose Blonde. Theyare my 1st EW wigs!
Hi, I love platin blonde rooted; The brighter whites are placed (in my understanding) according to the particular style, I don't think they are the same, it just depends on the style, that is the way I understand it at least. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! xoxo
I love the second one you showed. A longer length and barely any darker rooting at all. I hate dark roots and I don’t understand why anyone would want them? It’s almost impossible to find a nice blonde without dark roots. I color my bio hair and I never let the roots grow out, so why would I pay good money for a wig that shows dark roots? It makes no sense to me!🤣
I always say there is something for everyone, I love rooted styles but that is just my preference and totally respect those who don't care for them at all, aren't we lucky to have so many beautiful styles and colors to choose! Thanks for stopping by today Kathryn and taking the time to leave a comment! xoxo
Hi Kathryn, if I film on a shady/cloudy day versus a sunny day it will alter the look of the wig, lighting is the hardest part about making these videos, I do my best and hope you find some value in them, thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, have a great weekend sweet lady! xoxo
I hope you enjoy this video featuring 10 blonde Ellen Wille styles! Thanks for watching! xoxo
I like these comparison videos, especially something like this, comparing colors.

Loved several of them.
THANK YOU FOR THIS EXPLANATION. I wondered why two wigs, same color were not the same
Hi Carolynn, thank you for taking the time to watch today, have a great weekend! xoxo
I had noticed all the different blondes in EW. Thank you for the explanation. They sure don’t make it easy to have a favorite blonde color! 😅
It can be confusing for sure, thanks for watching today Lee Ann, have a great weekend! xoxo

Question: Are all wigs done “rooted”? I am a national blonde and as much as I love these colors the roots would look so phony on me 🙁
Hi Cheri, no there are styles that do not have roots, I just prefer them but many people rather have non rooted styles. Thanks for watching!xoxo
The roots look more pronounced in the video you did exclusively for Talent than they do in this video🙀🤣

Too many wigs too little time for me!
So true, so many wonderful styles! Thanks for watching today Ruby! xoxo
