Couple things. It's a pretty anemic engine and the tines stop when you let go of the throttle. The tines on this model don't spin near as fast as a rear tine tiller either. Being this style of tiller, the tines are out away from you pulling away from you. I agree with being safe but you also can't be afraid, you need to know how to operate equipment and know how it will work. What you don't see is my eye and ear protection, those are higher up in the safety chain than steel toe boots.
It was kind of a tongue in cheek comment. I have a stihl and a mantis tiller and I've actually used them barefoot. Nothing like dirt between your toes. All the best to you and yours.
Why is he not wearing proper work boots while he is operating this machine! I always put on my good work boots and clothes when I am operating any machinery on my farm!👍
I appreciate the concern and would definitely recommend new owners to have safety in mind when operating this. However, at the time of this filming, I had been very familiar with the machine and many other pieces of gas powered outdoor power equipment. I'm aware of risks and hazards and am comfortable with the tine speed and the dead man style throttle. Even on my bigger 10HP rear tine tiller, I've never come close to an accident with my feet, because of how I'm aware of my surroundings (footing, objects on the ground, machine status, etc).
This is a scam! The land that is being cultivated is OBVIOUSLY PREPARED FOR FILMING! Come to my unprepared land and there is no question that you will cultivate the land with this machine!
Muy buena maquina , quiero saber si la venden en Medellín - Colombia.
Muchas gracias
We have same hand glove🤭 torn at the thumb end
Safety 101, always wear sandals and white socks for protection when working with sharp metal tines turning at high rpm's.
