Nice to see ya back where you love being- On the road. Rockport MO yes ice. Our family is from there in the 50’s that’s 1850. Almost bought that RV park across from the truck stop- and they had a good cafe. I’m rambling ... I love the hot pies at the Arches when I stop. Agreed on fog/icy roads. I do have an 09 Ford Ranger with daytime running lights. Nephew said pull a fuse to turn them off , no thanks safer with em on. Good run , thanks for post.
I've got a 2019 Ford Ranger. Never had running lights before. This Ranger has a info menu setting so you need to choose to have running lights on or off and then, you must have the lights switch set on Auto and Auto only for them to come on. I can see that if most newer Ford models are like that, some people don't realize that they are not even coming on? I read the owners manual to find that out,lol Great videos Kurt!

I'm right with ya on the daytime fog.........also hate 2 lane roads at night in the rain......when lines are faded to bout non existent......meet a car and the whole road just bout disappears.....be safe and I swear, that is one good sounding truck......I know, I know, I've mentioned it before 🤦🏻♂️👍👍

Up here North of the Border DRLs are law. Every car has to have them. Even if you import a car from the US the first thing you have to install are DRLs. Ya a lot of people still forget to turn on the lights when dark, thats where auto headlamps help. Be safe all.

Watching this at 4:30 AM, because I'm having trouble getting to sleep. Good luck on giving up chocolate bars. You could be have withdrawal symptoms before you know it! I actually had an 'addition' to Snickers bars at one point. One of my old managers named Ron at the grocery store I work at was addicted to them, and he got me hooked. He said that sometimes when you go through so much bull**** and you eat a Snickers bar, it makes you feel better (just long enough anyway). Kinda like cigarettes, only they don't smell bad, and not as deadly! I even experimented with M&Ms, but I couldn't tell what worked better. But then after he quit earlier this year, I kinda ended up not eating Snickers as much. I still eat them, just not as often. I may have to get back into it soon, cuz you're not you when you're hungry!
Now cruelty would be getting a load out of Hershey, PA when they give you a fresh Hershey Bar with your bills. They always seem so much better than store bought. Not sure if it is it being free or fresh. I'll go with fresh cause you can really smell the chocolate.

The fog was reflecting (absorbing? creating?) so much light last night, that it practically lit up a room. I'm on a hill and could barely see to the corner, much less down a couple of blocks, which I can usually see with ease. I have a stupid question - when you sleep in the cab in cold weather, what do you do for heat? I'd think that leaving the truck going all night would use up the battery, but maybe you use another heat source.

I have a stupid question - when you sleep in the cab in cold weather, what do you do for heat? I'd think that leaving the truck going all night would use up the battery, but maybe you use another heat source.
