- My arrangement of my favorite theme from John Du Prez's scores from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film franchise. Couldn't find it online, so I figured I'd do my own arrangement. Hope you like it.

TMNT 1990 was filled with more substance than people think. When Splinter is talking to Raphael about his temper,nearly losing Raphael at April's apartment,Danny learning from Splinter that his father does love him,it speaks volumes about its story.

Yeah, when I composed this arrangement, I did it because I couldn't get the theme out of of my head. It's an amazing film score, one of my all-time favorites.

Even after all these years, I still love the movie and the campfire scene especially, I spent years trying to find the music that was played during that scene and (eventually) I found this so James Newton Lewis, you may be tired of hearing this but thank you very much 👍👍👍👍

I ALWAYS THOUGHT I WAS ALONE! I was a weeping nine year old in a theater when i first saw that scene and even now, 33.5 years later, i still weep like i did then. TBH its the splinter scenes (the fire, the danny bit, the counseling Raph on his anger) that makes this film a forever alltime favourite that i will verbally combat anyone who shits on it

Yeah, I completely agree. That's why this film has stuck with me all these years, and why I composed this piece. I rarely find films today that stick with me in the same way.

John Du Prez's theme does a great job in capturing the father/son dynamic between Splinter and the turtles, which is why it's my favorite theme in all of the movies. There's just so much heart, especially in the first film.
I just finished watching the movie on RUclips and until now, that meditation scene never got to me like it just did. Such a powerful, emotional scene.
Definitely my favorite scene in the film.
How they took something so ridiculous and give it real emotion back then is what made that movie great. The movies now are mindless ass fests

Yeah it was, because all they had was their clinging hope that splinter was still alive. They mourned that theres a possibility they may never see him again.

So sad/happy yet amazing. I hope others are moved by this score like I was long after I’m gone.
This song is so great, it takes me back to my childhood, and when the base kicks in it gives me goosebumps, its hard to describe how powerful an effect this song has on me, i now listen to it in the mornings while i think of grateful thoughts and it brings me a strong feeling of peace!! thanks !!

Ever since my dad died last year this has been a theme for me to make it through these hard times
The campfire scene where the 4 Turtles summon the spirit of Master Splinter here, near the end of White Fang where Ethan Hawke has to let the Wolf run free, and in Beethoven where the Newton family is a wreck and it looks like the 3 baddies (played by Oliver Platt, Stanley Tucci, and the late Dean Jones) are going to win after the St. Bernard was set up with fake blood are the 3 tear-jerking scenes I remembered as a 90's kid.
"Raph: Leo, if you dragged us out here for nothing...
Donny: Don't worry, [pulls out bag of marshmallows] I came prepared. Hehe.
Leo: Put those away! Now everybody close your eyes and concentrate. Concentrate...hard."
A crying shame the score of the original 90's movie has never been released. Perhaps because people weren't as appreciative of scores back then like they are now? No matter. Your wonderful piece (which is from my favorite score scene in the movie) suffices wonderfully. Great job.

TMNT, the most underated franchise of all time. Half the population of the world may never even realise that these four turtles existed. Ninja Turtles touches my life in a way that nothing else has. Marvel, DC, Disney, Star Wars...All well known brands, but none as multi generational as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Just watched this last weekend. Grew up on it both seeing it in the theater and on VHS at home. For a relatively low budget film based on a comic/cartoon it has both dark elements but also very insightful and heartfelt messages. I will go on the stand and say that they caught lighting in a bottle with this film. Although some of its references and effects are noticeably outdated almost to the point of cringeworthy one can't deny how powerful and moving some of the dialogue is.
One of the best movies ever made. Soundtrack is elite, also.

Amazing Work, So many memories at once, like watching it even before I learned the language, yet this one scene transcended the language barrier and it was due in no small part to this powerful musical piece. Thanks for posting it and making such a great reproduction

Imagine this...a "Last Ronin" film featuring the original 90's turtles and an older April O'Neil. The last surviving turtle returns from a fight bruised, battered and retreats to rest. April's asked what happened to him and her voice-over is heard talking about that turtle's pain, loss and loneliness as this theme plays over the moment while that last brother sits alone surround by memories of his brothers 😭

My Ex hasn't let me see my 3 children for almost 3 years, when last I saw them they were little kids now they are young adults. I keep in contact with them through my mother. So much of there lives I have missed out on. I tell them how sorry I am, but the pain remains. I tell them no matter what mom says I love them dearly. One day we will be together again. I love you all, my children 😢

Every time I hear this song it reminds me of the day I Lost my mom. I loved her so much and she always knew I'm a huge ninja turtle fan. She passed away almost 10 years ago.

I love the 1990 TMNT movie so much. The music in the movie is one of the reasons why. It's a shame the 2014 TMNT movie had nothing in it that could even resemble a moment from this score

Why Is It So Hard To Find?
Don't know if you've already found it, I searched youtube for unofficial bootleg version of the soundtrack. I think you'll be surprised by the results.
It is clear that after the turtles escape from the city to the farm Mike becomes quieter and doesn't make so many jokes he was probably missing Splinter a lot in the bonfire scene when he cries it brings tears to tears everyone there cried
