    Real Parasaurolophus sound | Dinosaur
Picture credits to incredible artist Jacob Baardse
    www.artstation...
In 1995 an incredibly well preserved Parasaurolophus skull was found. Two years later, computer scientists and paleontologists ran a CT scan on the skull at a local hopsital in New Mexico, then used the resources of highly classified Sandia Labs to put the information into a computer and create a 3-D model of the skull. The computer model could then simulate sounds that resulted when air was moved through it. The sounds you can hear in the clip are with and without vocal chords, as scientists still do not know if Parasaurolophus had vocal chords. Again, not so good with the fossilizing.
The sounds were designed exclusively by regenerating the sounds of today's animals.
    I designed them myself.

Walking through the forest, alone, CO2 levels are lower, it's night time, the crickets are chirping, there's no roads and the entire forest is full of bushes and then… you hear it, your heart drops and stops for a second, you feel like you can't breathe and like you're chocking on something, is this thing coming for you? Is it running from you? Does it know you're there? The best you can do is to lay down, hope it doesn't find you, and pray that if it comes near you, it doesn't step on you
