I continued to follow Roy Rogers online after they sold many of its locations to McDonalds and Boston Market. They were starting to grow again and I was hoping they would return to the New York area but then Covid hit. I hope they come back to Long Island one day.
I so agree with you. I was so excited when the news of new Roy's on Long Island came out. I nearly cried when they were canceled. Hopefully soon. There is a strong Roy Rogers following on Long Island (I think). I know I am. It's my absolute favorite fast food restaurant.

I loved eating at Roy Rogers and it was my first job. Many of the ones here in northern Virginia became McDonalds. There are some still around here but very few. I think they should expand
I loved eating Roy Roger's food growing up in the late 70s early 80s. I especially loved the Strawberry shakes because of the real strawberry syrup used the make them. 😋
As a NYer, I was used to seeing RR up and down the NJ Turnpike. I also remember Nyc having one across from Penn Station up until the 2000s. I haven't eaten at RR since then up until a few weekends ago at the Rockville location. The food was good and I kinda wished they reopened one back in NY

I like Roy Rogers. They are the Hardee’s/ Carls of the northeast. They give you hearty portions of real food for a value price. I wish they were national.

I'm a truck driver and would eat these places on the Pennsylvania turnpike every now and then. I always loved the chicken sandwich and fries they had. But unfortunately I ran up there in several year's and not sure if them places are still on the turnpike or not🤔

I love Roy's ive always loved fhem and i always will. The Bellevue location is my favorite even though its across the river from me it's worth it

I think there's an opportunity to for Roy Rogers to expand across the US. Everyone is tired of McDonald's and Wendy's. Burger King and Hardee's are closing restaurants at a very rapid pace now. Leaving a bunch of empty buildings everywhere. With their roast beef sandwiches, burgers and chicken, that would give Arby's and others some competition. Go back to the original food they have back then is what bring the customers back. I would like to see a Roy Rogers come to northern Ohio.

There was a Roy's across the street from MSG/Penn Station in New York many years ago. Prime location, usually with only a handful of customers due to better options nearby. It was too run down and dated looking. and the food/service was mediocre.
