i used to play with edits on release and i switched to manually confirm the edits and i got better, i mean i got more aware of what im doing in fights and you might be slower in the beggining but when you get used to it its gonna fell like you never switched. it took me a while to get the hang of it so i suggest to change the setting for a week or 2 and see if you think you can keep up. good video btw
