As a sucker for hard bepop jazz & smooth jazz since a kid, i really love the jazz undertones here! Todays film scores of constant bwwwwaaaaahhhhs & braaaammmmss who has no idea on how to write a score with a harmonic structure, this is one of the breath of fresh air. Love Giacchino, since he's classically trained & also loves jazz, same with Görannsson, Britell, Djawadi etc.
This might be Giacchino’s best score for a film he’s ever done. Very clear, distinct character work strong themes, very classic and somewhat gothic in parts. Loving it so far.

A lot of Giacchino's work is like this. The Incredibles score has some tracks that sound like they're from the early Bond films. John Barry is clearly a huge influence on him. Hopefully he actually gets to do a Bond score at some point.

The 15 minutes of music we've heard of Giacchino's Batman soundtrack so far has all been exceptional. A breath of fresh air after Hand Zimmer who worked on the previous four live action films. Lots of emotion. The perfect choice of composer.
This sounds like if your sitting alone at a bar with the bartender doing his last hour of his shift and then a pretty woman walks in the bar. You don’t know a thing about her but you know that there’s more to her than what meets the eye.
Considering Matt Reeves mentioned that she's like a mix between Bree Daniels and Evelyn Mulwray this theme fits so incredibly well. 0:42 to 0:47 has such Chinatown vibes.

There is a lot I loved about this film. When it came to what stood out to me the most when walking out of the theater, it was definitely Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman. She is hands down my favorite Catwoman and hope to see more of her. I can't wait to see this movie again.
It's not "elements of slow jazz" it IS slow jazz orchestra. And it's not Giacchino "going back to his roots", it's finding a theme that fix perfectly for Catwoman, which this noir jazzy theme fits PERFECTLY for catwoman entirely.

This song captures the essence of Catwoman: femme fetale, nocturnal thief, sharp minded, and independent. The Irene Adler to Batman’s Sherlock Holmes. It’s as if The Godfather’s theme were remixed for a Tim Burton movie; as if soap opera were mixed with jazz.
Very fitting for selina/catwoman. Its soft and flirty but also bold. Feels like an old film where we see a detective following a woman spying on her for clues. Seriously well done and exceptional work.

While the batman theme is catchy and more memorable, this is the most emotional theme for sure. They really nailed it.

This has definitely earned my vote for Best Movie of 2022. It's gritty, dark and noir in its ambience and I absolutely love it.
Only an honest and sincere human could compose such a beautiful masterpiece for the one and only Catwoman, and Giacchino has executed it all.

This theme just says a lot of Catwoman's character that we'll see on the film. Character storytelling through music at it's best.

It's not "elements of slow jazz" it IS slow jazz orchestra. And it's not Giacchino "going back to his roots", it's finding a theme that fix perfectly for Catwoman, which this noir jazzy theme fits PERFECTLY for catwoman entirely.
For me 0:44 - 01:20 and 02:07 - 02:45 are the best part of this sound track. It takes me to another world. It gives me peace of mind. I've watched this movie two times in the theater. Frankly, I got goosebumps. Fabulous 👏👏

It’s as if The Godfather’s theme were remixed for a Tim Burton movie; as if soap opera were mixed with jazz.

Very fitting for selina/catwoman. Its soft and flirty but also bold. Feels like an old film where we see a detective following a woman spying on her for clues. Seriously well done and exceptional work.
At first I was like mehhhhhhh with the whole piano, but as soon as it fades and the strings kick in, I SEE WHY IT SUITS CATWOMAN!!! 😍🔥 Kinda reminds me of the “Chase Me” short where Batman is going after Catwoman for stealing money and diamonds!!
