Good day Tyler always look forward to another video love following you around doing your daily stuff on the ranch ❤love watching you feed those cute bottle calves adorable❤
I have been an avid watcher for a while now but wanted to drop the comment that I think this is one of your best seasons for quality calves yet! A nice bunch of calves and hopefully some good heifers in there for the future.
On days like this Tyler, it truly reveals your love for working the ranch and the many tallents you have to get the job done! Great job! Sure love to see how you got all of this calves in the trailer without their mommas, so fun to watch! God’s blessings always!❤❤❤❤
As someone who grew up working cattle and hogs with my grandfather and uncle, I’m amazed at your ability to load these animals by yourself! Impressive 😂
Those sure a good looking bunch of calf’s u have some good momma cows and a good cow dog would be very helpful when u are by yourself a lot . Just a thought have a good weekend.
hi Tyler well your allergies sound awful I hope you find something to get some relief I just love your herd that is the best calling for calves for their mom I said it before I love your channel well take care from Ontario!
127K! Yay! And still growing!!!! Yes, I was curious about the cows and calves not being weighted, so you already answered my question. lol 😝 I’m glad the cows were pretty cooperative and with them working on the reservoir it’s a good idea to bring the cows home. You’re a hard working family, but You make it look easy. But we know it’s not. You sure put your heart into it. Cali and Bellie look great. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend. 😃 Looking forward to your next 🎶 “Farmer Tyler Range” 🎶 video.
Good post! Makes a full day with multiple trips moving cows. You sound like your still fighting allergies or a cold! Good discussion of when, why and how you determine when to bale your hay!
2nd comment - actually had a stack of square bales once that started smoldering. That was interesting. Took it apart and we lost some bales, wish we would had have the probes back then. Good on ya FTR
Hi, farmer Tyler. I wish we were getting the good weather you're getting. Since the new year, I think we've got four good days of weather here in Great Britain.Good luck, and God bless you and your family
Tyler.... Smokey & Little are so Precious... You Could Make a Video just of them and their Antics they get up too... Maybe Buddy Too!! Call it "The Milk Baby's Day" 🐄🐂❤🐂🐄❤🐄🐂
The other problem with bales made too dry is you will loose your leaves and more importantly in your case that immature grain will get lost on the ground and not make it into the bale, this is the source of protein in this type of hay. And yes this is hay it appears that the know-it-alls are unfamiliar with the bleaching (yellow color) caused by the nightly heavy dews brought in with the delta breezes every afternoon. This combined with the long curing process with this type of hay in this region.
I am amazed at the big deep chests, hefty bodies and overall conformation on Rivet's calves. The black calves can't compare to the coloreds. I'm sure that some of the black calves are his too. I think it was a wise choice that you kept him.
Are you going to build a shelter over your Arrowquip or put a tarp over it when you arent using it? I'm trying to decide whether to or not to. I want mine to last for a long time ..
Hey Tyler, just curious what type of hay you use? Here in NY the alfalfa gets cut 3 or 4 times a season and it seems you only cut once. Or do you harvest a few times a year and I haven’t payed enough attention to your videos lol ?
Do you have a maximum number of cows in your herd. Right now I believe you have 20 pairs and a number of yearlings and a number of bulls. This city girl loves your videos. 😊
You are so calm cool and collected when you are working those guys. Your patience is remarkable. I guess everything you do is on "Cow Time". I also wondered if you have ever considered using a good cutting horse to help with all the maneuvering. Granted, you are getting fantastic exercise, to me it seems like it would be easier, and possibly safer in some instances. Maybe sometime you could address my query. Anyway, I just love your videos and your cows really look fantastic.
My toddler especially, but my family loves the videos. We also have a ranch and enjoy your ideas, craftsmanship, and of course the cows.
Can't get over how well those calves look. You sure have good mother cows.
It‘s not just the mother;) (I am a mother and consider myself not fully responsible;-) ;-)
The cows and calves coming from the winter pasture are looking good
What a great-looking set of calves!! You can be proud of this crop, for sure.
Great camera angles ! The extra effort it takes is very much appreciated!

You are a hard worker man … full of passion and devotion… God bless
Your calf crop just looks outstanding!
Wish I could just thank you for feeding my family...
A substantial amount of vocal communication in this video! Cool to see the desire of the mamas and babies to reunite.
I have been watching your video's for a few years and I believe that this years calf crop is your best!!! As always a very good job.
Your cattle are in such great conditionand you're so patient
That’s a great looking batch of calves this year! Especially love those red ones.👍🏻
Those cows and calves look awesome.

Those are some great looking calves!
Cattle have done well at winter pasture., well formed, good looking coats.
Hi I'm 75 years old and love watching your videos and I'm from Saskatchewan,.Canada.
Those are some really Good Looking Calves. They are all nice and stocky
Loved how the littlest calf started leading the way to the trailer.
Hope you have a great 🇺🇸 Memorial 🇺🇸 Day 🇺🇸 weekend. 🇺🇸
It’s amazing the mother instinct in the moma cows !!
Smokey & Littles right in there! So Sweet 😊
The mommy's smell the babies coming. ❤❤❤
I enjoyed watching you with the bid herd! Great again 😊
he owns a great herd of cattle, i like this, i want to make a farm like that and i followed him
Another fantastic farm show! Love it!
Thank you for explaining the hay, very informative.
Really good looking babies 👶 😮😊
I really liked today’s thumbnail. It made me smile 😊

Well done!
Quiet, patient - just the way to do it.

10:35 that's why I never leave home without a jug of water for the dogs, a thermos of coffee and a peanut butter sandwich or two for me. 💖🌞🌵😷
Those Allergies Tyler., it’s hitting us all hard., I wish I would’ve have gotten that one Covid shot., Your Cattles are growing larger 5-25-2024❤
Hay bale rides were a staple when I was a kid in the 50's. So were rides on a truck hood on the snow. Times have changed and not for the better.
I remember those rides too!
WE got a close look at #63 SNOOT I just adore moos! And just love this channel
Sounding less stuffy. Hope you're feeling better. All of the calves are looking great! Good job, Dad!! Great herd of cattle.
Wonderful episode 😃😃😃x
Another fantastic day on FTR! Fantastic looking herd! Mamas and calves all look very healthy.
hi Tyler well your allergies sound awful I hope you find something to get some relief I just love your herd that is the best calling for calves for their mom I said it before I love your channel well take care from Ontario!
Those calves have grown a lot, and I love watching you herd them. I think it was Cole from Sonne Farms who said herding calves is like herding cats.
127K! Yay! And still growing!!!!

Hi Tyler the calf are really growing I can’t believe there so big
Darn tricky doing that by yourself- good job. And the cows and calves look very nice, great calf crop.
You have a great looking crop of calves there buddie. Good on you.
Thx for sharing
Nice straight top lines on those calves. Rivet had some good genetics hes passing on.
Good post! Makes a full day with multiple trips moving cows. You sound like your still fighting allergies or a cold! Good discussion of when, why and how you determine when to bale your hay!
You have some nice looking calves.
Thanks FTR for explaining about the moisture content for the bales, much appreciated
Great looking calves there Tyler good group of of future cows looks like the hay yield is pretty good too
2nd comment - actually had a stack of square bales once that started smoldering. That was interesting. Took it apart and we lost some bales, wish we would had have the probes back then. Good on ya FTR
Hi everyone 😊
Great video today!!
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO Tyler 😊
If only Rivet and Li'l Boy understood where the herd of little ones came from I'm sure they'd be some proud papa's.😂
We see you have had no rain, however we will not pray for rain until you get all the hay bales covered up or brought in. God bless.
Calif rarely gets rain during summer months.
But we do harvest lots & lots of fresh strawberries!!😊
@@deborah2302 I often see light rain in the early morning hours, of course that rarely happens in California
The cows are so fat and sleek! So healthy and well cared for. I love watching the calves
thats a pretty good looking bunch of calves
Well, that "pathetic guy" Rivet is putting some solid butts on his calves!
Hi, farmer Tyler. I wish we were getting the good weather you're getting. Since the new year, I think we've got four good days of weather here in Great Britain.Good luck, and God bless you and your family
Love the bottle calves,
I'm glad to see you catch and work the calves in the new chute, i'm interested in seeing if it goes smoother for you.
They sure look's like the cattle have been eating well.
You might take the damp bale back to feed, rather than unroll it. Food for thought. Keep up the good work.
just sit outside and feed first...
Fine load!!😊
Rivit throws really nice calfs!!
Sure have a colorful array of calves. Your German Sheperd is a beatiful and intellegent creature.
Tyler.... Smokey & Little are so Precious... You Could Make a Video just of them and their Antics they get up too... Maybe Buddy Too!! Call it "The Milk Baby's Day"
🐄🐂❤🐂🐄❤🐄🐂
OMG those 2 calves are so cute together ❤
Most excellent FTR. Very interesting and entertaining.
I’m gonna bet those Riveter calves outperform the others, they are bringing the BEEF!
I'm glad you got to eat your breakfast. That is the Most important meal of the day!
I have ridden on a hay wagon, tossed bails-the small rectangular ones-I found out why my husband only wears jeans when he goes to help on the farm
I learned that same lesson helping load the hay bales on the truck as a teenager.😊
I noticed when you started the bailer, the front right side wheel is wobbling. Is it bent or loose?
Man those rivet calves look real good!
Dang, I think I'd be breeding all my cows to Rivet. Those are some nice calves and I wouldn't be surprised if those red ones were his.
Great video, looks like it's time to get the fly sprayer going. Have a great weekend!! 😎
I get the biggest laugh out of the cows sniffing the camera...BIG nose holes!😂
Those calves are really growing
Smokey and Littles are so freaking cute!!
Wow! What a cow cacophony!
Hi Tyler great job bailing your hay and you got to eat your breakfast I’m happy for you ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Txs for the bale moisture explanation.

Ok, so once you achieve desired %, does it maintain that number?
They slick and healthy.😊
Are you going to build a shelter over your Arrowquip or put a tarp over it when you arent using it? I'm trying to decide whether to or not to. I want mine to last for a long time ..
those calves are luking good tyler bet you are rapt with them
I believe your cows like the hay maybe better then some of the pasture
The flies on the cows & calves looks kind of bad. Garlic salt blocks out? Time to get that walk thru sprayer going. Enjoyable video.
Hey Tyler, just curious what type of hay you use? Here in NY the alfalfa gets cut 3 or 4 times a season and it seems you only cut once. Or do you harvest a few times a year and I haven’t payed enough attention to your videos lol ?
The small right wheel on the front of the bailer wobbles. Looks like it needs to be tightened or bearings are bad.
🙌🏻🙌🏻❤ LOVED this video.
I was surprised the calves were not bawling for mama.
Do you have a maximum number of cows in your herd. Right now I believe you have 20 pairs and a number of yearlings and a number of bulls. This city girl loves your videos. 😊
20 at the winter pasture, similar number at home ranch and the steers at the steer pasture....not sure of the total count
Thank you, Tyler
Thank you for the video

Another good video FTR
