Hii Navjot ma'am....from last one month i have looking for the videos related to phd ...how to do ..what steps to take futher ..what is its requirement etc. But one thing I highly appreciate about your video is that you took such an important factor into consideration which is *parents understanding about thier kid's phd* because most of the time in our society people do not know about what phd is or they might have very little knowledge which sometimes make the scholars uncomfortable and belitted. Same goes with the parents ...they sometimes prevent kids from persuing higher education.

That depends on your interests and academic background. If you have Btech/BE you'll be able to enroll in emgg departments if you ha e BSc MSc then in sciences. If you are asking about making this choice after 12th, try to introspect whether ypu like learning about fundamentals of things or building things from existing knowledge? First is sciences and second more on engg. Additionally, I would encourage you to look at future prospects top, jn terms of which field might give you more and better employment opportunities unless you are madly passionate about science and don't care much about other aspects.

@@rishigupta9671 that's the chicken-egg situation people like us have to go through! You can have both if you are okay accepting the fact that while your peers might start earning well earlier than you and grow faster than you, what matters for you is the peace you experience reading this of your interest and probing questions of interest to you. If you are at good institutions you won't be struggling but it wouldn't be lavish as well. Now it depends on where all you can compromise and what things you need to have for sure.
