- Once a week, yoga teacher Chanda Williams walks through the gates at San Quentin Prison with her yoga mat under her arm to teach a class. She’s an instructor with the Prison Yoga Project, a non-profit organization that brings the ancient practice behind the walls of correctional facilities across the world to help inmates heal their trauma. Williams says it’s her way of trying to help break the cycle of incarceration many prisoners find themselves in. #InsideEdition

Wish they had this program back when I was serving out my 10 year stretch. I just started joining the wife for yoga classes on RUclips and it's been amazing. Incredibly calming and relaxing, my Lower back feels better all around I'm a yogi now. 🤙

@@3peat814 yoga is helping me stay young and flexible. It's an incredible low impact workout. Mixed with any other training your gonna see yourself improve. For me its about the hips and keeping a good core balance so I can easily knock out a negative loud mouth. Yoga will not make you soft.

In my school yoga is a class so then if u don’t like normal gym you can take something else and we only need one gym credit
