- 無限に展開する箱の中からもう一つの箱が星形で現れるとっても不思議な「吉本キューブ」（造形作家の吉本直貴氏が考案）をユニット折り紙方式で折る方法。本物のおもちゃ程美しくはありませんが、同じ動きが楽しめます。
既に紹介されている色々な作り方も 参考に、シンプルに楽しく折る方法を考えました。
A4コピー用紙を4枚ご用意ください。
糊なしでも形になりますが、遊んでいるうちに分解するので糊付けをおすすめします。
16個のミニキューブを折る時間がない方は、8個で作る箱1個だけでも遊べます（大人もきっと楽しめます）。

I finally made one! It took me totally a week. But that week includes a practicing single yoshimoto cube (not set) so i could see where i struggled or what places were easier to do. I used glue gun. It's really useful in this craft.

Thanks! I acutally made a yoshimoto cube 1 month ago from Karagamii's tutorial, and It looked cool but when the guests came some little kids broke it :( So I tried making the modular origami version and it was much easier! Thanks now I have 2 Yoshimoto cubes (the other one broken XD)

In 5:41 , how are the triangles self collapsing. I can't get them to stay like that. (Blue and Red ones)
I think you can use glue on those parts or just do the entire thing and put tape or glue on the end one so that it stays in place tightly

How do you make sure that they are mirror symmetrical? Do you have to fold the inside squares in clockwise if you are folding to the right or counter clockwise to the left when folding? I am having a hard time with the hinges. From my knowledge it is important where the inside squares r pointing to fit the hinges.
Yes, you are right. Check 6:28 and fold the other one counterclockwise (turn on English CC if it's not already on).

hello can you help me i am having trouble with the part from 4:06 to 4:32 , do we have to fold from both of the sides or what and what is meant by the 1st cube and 2nd cube please help me👍
0:43 The set consists of two cubes, one on the right and one on the left, and the two cubes are mirror images of each other. So, for the 1st cube 4:06, make diagonal creases from the right, and for the 2nd 4:32, creases from the left. (Turn on the English subtitles if needed.)

The paper size is A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) or 1:1.41 (0:26). The square paper at the end is only for those who want to use origami. (Turn on the English subtitles if needed.) Thank you.

I tried it once, but I gave up😓. It would be very difficult.
Sweet Paper Hi, I have found a simple technique to fold this without glue. it uses a 3x7 rectangle instead of 3x6 and slightly more complicated hinges from 1x4 rectangles. Hopefully you can figure it out
It uses a different technique than just overlapping the ends of the sheets into a circle than collapsing, that is very difficult

As someone who enjoys actual ORIGAMI, I've learned the hard way over time that you should always watch the video before attempting to fold the model because sometimes authors do not state at the beginning of their video that you need to use GLUE, which makes the design not actually origami as advertised #WasteOfTime

Maybe you should try learning Japanese, or keep your captions on, smartass. It was clearly stated that glue may be needed at the beginning of the video. As someone who enjoys ACTUAL origami, maybe you should start paying more attention and trying to understand what's going on before starting with your nonsense.
It said that in the beginning that you needed glue. Second, I recommend you not say that to the entire world because you CAN be wrong...
Allie, as I said, no glue in origami, if it didn't say origami in the title then I wouldn't have proceeded to watch the video to need the CC. Misleading. However, I was incorrect about there not being a warning at the beginning of the video. Can't all be right, all of the time. Thank you for your comment/recommendation.
