Thank you for making detailing more accessible. I watch other people do this and I get intimidated. But the way you use supplies we usually have and just do things by hand has inspired me to try to weather some stuff we will see 😅
Good video bud. I chromed my grill and light buckets. Installed lexan light lens and it really looked good. 30 minutes later I pulled the grill off and chopped the fenders. Lol that's how I like it. Weathering and patina tomorrow. Varnish with a sponge or small brush works well also. Thanks for the tips.
Love the video man! IDK why doing a patina paint job is so daunting before you do it the first time, but I'm glad I did! Guys, listen to 2FM and go for it!
Just like I do weathering by myself. Don't like to make a sience out of it, because you will end up with a shelf-queen, when you put to much work in it. Great job. Like the heat-treatment.
Wow, that’s looking sweet Matt , yes, the door lines I just did on my discovery and my defender 110 the mini ones with a black sharpie. I’ve got a real real fine tip. Sharpie works great yeah just that little bit of detail. I did the hinges cause the old truck basically yellow the camel trophy edition
I liked the light on, however you usually have them while working with cam off will be fine, the way yours turned out, especially the glass is incredible, I'm not usually into scale details, other than a bit of chrome and body line, I don't know that I've seen better looking glass in this scale, it looks excellent!!!
lol.. I always use a Bic lighter to heat it from the back then use it to push the dents in.. kinda a 2in1 tool.. I've even used them to do flaring... Lots of shapes built in 🤣

@@brandonwynn9801 heck yeah! I’ll have to try that
Your reason is why I built my mb24 the way I did. Only one around like it.
Wicked job on the body! Nice that you put your own spin on it. It really sets it apart from the rest 👌🏻
@@24crawlin thanks!
Yes please. Can’t wait to see how you mount it the the ascent 18. Rad

Cool 😎
The camera adjusts pretty well. Without light looks better tho
@@hypnoticpenguin666 thanks for letting me know!
I'm not installing the rear fender panels. I like the cage look...
Try forming the clear lexan over the stock tinted windshield with the heat gun.
@@jameslovasziii6917 that’s a good idea! Gonna have to try that. If it don’t melt too quickly lol
@@2fmrc I’m still waiting on my IR60 body to come in and I plan on doing some modifications and paint work as well.
Beautiful body 😍
I can see detail more with that extra light on unfortunately. Ty for asking👍
you were lucky, mine came without the assembly directions & was also missing a roll cage piece.
Body came out looking great. It fits a stock trx4m you said?

Great tutorial, definitely leave the light off

Hey mat. Was wondering what do you recommend for the best grippy 1 inch tires for my trx4m?
When are they going to release the 18th anniversary Blazer?
