Wow, my Cousin Earl!! I was just perusing the net looking for Ballground, MS things for our reunion and there she was.
I miss her and had no idea she did this short before she passed.
What a jewel to pass on and see for our upcoming reunion...
So much information is contained in that little ole lady
Earl Jeffrey was my cousin. We have our 50th year Maggie Young family reunion coming up in August. (Earl’s maternal grandmother). It woul really be a plus if we could show some of the footage you shot of her. I have down the genealogy research. So we have the essentials. Many of our young people have never been to Ballground or seen any of where our ancestors used to live. Please let us know if we are able to attain this video.
My grandma was on Mr. wade plantation
@NurturingOurRoots101 Is there a full length movie for this short video? If so where can I find it?
When can I watch this?!?!?
I will post my question on ever site until I get an answer! Where can I find the movie???
When is this coming out
You would think that Antoinette Harrell would know where to find the movie... since she is the one making this video. One would think that she would readily give out the information where to find the movie. Such as it is... this leaves me to believe that there is no such movie.
what happened? after the slaves were set free did they want to stay with the 'massa'??
Of course they had nowhere else to go
