No offense, but how can you consider somebody to be an expert on music, when that person hasn’t heard the most common songs in Western culture? Most people are at least familiar with the songs their parents played when they were growing up. I find it hard to believe there are many who haven’t heard most of the music these guys claim to be unaware of…
Tim has said it many times before that he mostly listened to rap, hip-hop and music of that sort before this channel. As for whether his parents listened to this could be debated if A) they were only listening to the same music, all be it earlier in the genres, or B) This came out before they were old enough to pick their own music.
