  • Composer John Williams gives a rare performance as piano soloist, as Seiji Ozawa conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Williams' "The Tennis Game" from The Witches of Eastwick. Ozawa then concludes the concert with a surprise encore of a much-loved Williams movie theme.

    Ozawa really gets them whipped up. I’ve heard the Boston Pops live twice and they’re even tighter here than I heard at Tanglewood

    Is this the same 1997 concert in which "Sabrina's Theme (not sure if that is the correct title) was performed?

      Idk but I'd say earlier. 89 or 90 maybe.

      My guess looking at approx age of JW & main players is very late 80's or 90.
