Andreeson should make the team, but he got pushed around against Chicago & Tasker made a good point yesterday that their will be LB's released from other teams that will better & have experience so it will just depend on what direction Buff wants to Go
Moats is awesome - dude's a sleeper nerd - comes across very jovial and jocular but any time you get him talking about schemes and responsibilities, he knows everybody's job on the field
Great job guys. Wow the schedule is brutal for the Bills. But lets hope we don't get the injury bug like last year. I would love to see them do the unexpected this year!
Good to see someone excited about the d line. Many of the bills podcasts have been most concerned about the d line play going into the season, to me it seems like a strength. It’s interesting to hear someone who actually played football, Also be excited about the front.
Thanks for getting Author on the show!! It's great to get a up close analysis of a ex-player's knowledge base. Andreessen is a LOCK!! Solomon, R. Davis and Gore got great possibilities to making this team.
Andreesen was a breath of fresh air for this defense. I really like the way that he trust what he sees and just goes, he’s very instinctual and takes great angles of pursuit. He has a certain juice to him that many LBs don’t have. The way he plays is reminiscent of someone like Matt Manilo or even better (not to get too ahead of ourselves) Luke keuchly with the way that he shoots the gaps and keeps his eyes on the ball, never taking himself out of the play.
I believe the bills change defense in the playoffs. Become less aggressive and play more cautious. They play a defensive form of defense. Let the play come to them instead of taking the play to the opposition. McDermott needs to stop playing scared in the playoffs. Exactly why we lost the 13 second game. McDermott played scared
The Defense is consistently 🗑 in the playoffs & I believe they've averaged giving up right around 30 per for the last 4 years from what I read.. thats unacceptable for the amount of $ & assets they waste on D which should've gone to helping Allen
If 4 SB losses and a historical playoff drought weren't enough, then the events of recent years must certainly have inspired Football Divinity to send the Bills a defender-who, of course, arrived via a lowly tryout-to be the Bills' answer to put down the opponents and hold up the Vince.
Mr Moats, you are truly an awesome persona and ex-player.. One thing i must disagree with you and a lot of significant bills analysts..if you think that you can just inject him into the game only when you think you need him then HE WILL NOT PRODUCE.. Von by his own declaration said he needs to feel the flow of games and tske time ti set up lineman for big 4th qtr plays.. You cant treat him like he is a field goal kicker. SO EITHER PLAY HIM OR REMOVE HIM to make room for a roster spot( deep down you know im right)
You have mahome boy throwing behind the back passes we have seen josh throw 4 passes Tyler bass has been our best player pre season our defense has to be extremely good or we are looking at a crazy season ahead
Who cares what Mahomes did? It was like a 4 yard gain. It's not ideal, but they have so many injuries, it's silly to bother risking him in a meaningless game. The defense played really well last week. They're going to be a top 10 unit like usual.
@@peterwilson4865You are right. McDermott is really good at getting the most out of his defense. He somehow makes good players very good or great! People forget that Poyer and Hyed were average players until McDermott put them in place.
@@nealanthony3482 yep and they were both ironically average or below because of age and injury last year, and still were a top 10 unit with a tough schedule. That was also without and help from Von, Daquan, Tre, and Milano to boot
First time posting. Loved this episode. Joe and Arthur put together a great show.
Damn. Did you see the way Moats face lit up when Andreesen was mentioned? For me that tells me he deserves a spot. Lol
Well, after watching more, he was excited about a lot of players. Lol. But he had lots of good things to say about Joe.

The best podcast Bills Mafia!!!! Thank you, Joe.

NOBODY CROSSES THE MOATS!!!
Love Arthur, always so positive and you can see how much he loves the game.
Can’t cross our MOATS!! Always supported and loved when moats was on the Bills! Great show!
Awesome podcast. Arthur is great. Thanks
Incredible and excelent interview
I always thought of Edmunds as the underperforming sidekick to Milano..

@@LockedOnBills i feel like a groupie
We get to see Arthur Moats on Locked on Bills. Brett Favre sees him in his nightmares. 😱
Damn good show Joe

I’m an everydayer and I know who I am. Great pod as always🤟
I wish Joe was a color commentator on tv for games.
Love moats.
Milano was not Tre Edward’s sidekick. He was the alpha LB on the defense.

He threw behind great alot of qbs can do it nothing new, just the risk is nit worth .

@@peterwilson4865 Yes, the Bills finished the season 7-2 with a decimated defense and pushed KC to the end and lost by 3 ! Terrific coaching !
Same old shit
Great insight!
