This is fake..Nowadays they have started to promote to use coins and without that u can’t contact to any students. And once u purchase coins then no. Of student will send you msg that they are interested but once you reply to that msg then they will deduct coins. Means they have planted some fake students who ask for tuition and they send u msg .. and as you reply to that msg in hope then coins will be reduced. Eventually yours whole coins will be used only in replying to unknown fake student and now u have to purchase more coins…
Hey you can go with it. It's only his bad experience. I am teaching guitar from this service sicne 4 years and ranked 107 amont 17,000 tutors all over India. You can surely go with it.

These days I am getting more number of wrong profiles and they are not refunding coins by telling some or other things about policies which isn't justified if its a wrong profile or incorrect requirement mentioned in the students post. The team is not doing a dip check on the student posted requirements REALLY DISAPPOINTED.. :(

They ask and charge atleast 50 to 60 for each enquiry we make to a student. And we dont even know that it is a genuine student or fake student. They charge for everything.

Scam is everywhere nowadays. Tbh, it depends I was searching for a TEACHER then found them within 5-10 days of waiting. Didn't take any memberships so took a time for there response. Now it has been almost 3months with one teacher still on the process. They are well-educated and teaching style varies from person-person yet it helps me to understand the depth knowledge. Hence, it doesn't mean everything is scam. So STOP generalizing things, dude.
Exactly, and this new policy of contacting students through Urban Pro platform, getting all videos recorded by them, getting payment after charging 20%, they are actually disrespecting teachers. In India, nobody is willing to pay more than 1.2-1.5k for four classes in a month, and if it is for an experienced teacher, they are already deducting Rs 600. If students misses demo, then also teachers are charged. And they are not at all responsible if the students book demo and cancel at the last moment. God knows what bullshit business model they are following.. It might be a good platform for students but hardly they know what they do with teacher's hard earned amount.
