After this the Roger pirates fight the Whitebeard pirates for three days!! Roger asks White Beard if he can use Oden to find the final Island, and White Beard reluctantly agrees after Oden said he really wanted to go!!

My theory is not he has 3 personalities (which if true would be sick too) but that he has 3 hearts and each heart can only sustain a devil fruit (in reality i have a bro that has 2 hearts that function normally but i dont known if you could have 3 i dont think its possible) thats why everyone can have only a DF at least thats what i think.

This episode, Shanks asks if Blackbeard has twice as much fun because he doesn’t sleep.
Post Enies Lobby, Ace tells Blackbeard that he should know the rules on Whitebeard’s crew because he’s lived twice as much as anyone else.
Drum Kingdom, Luffy tells Sanji as they’re carrying Nami up the mountain that a man in a bar (if not Shanks, then almost certainly one of his crew) told him about people who don’t sleep because if they do they’ll die. That chapter is also the first time Blackbeard is ever mentioned.
Oda is entirely prepared to give a hint 20 years before paying it off.

Honestly I still prefer “Oden was born to boil” more. I know it’s a less accurate translation but I think it sounds more natural and gets across the double meaning better than the official translation.

13:52 the red glowing eyes is often an indicator of Observation Haki / Future Sight being used. It’s a detail I like bc it makes it more obvious, kind of like how armament haki has a black coating to show us when it’s being used

I love it how Roger reaching the "end" 13 years prior means that during those 13 years it's implied that he explored the entirety of the grand line yet Laugh Tale is so well hidden he could never accidentally stumble upon it.
If you remember back in the early episodes, there are "paths" that you could take, at least in the first half of the grand line, and Luffy explored only one path so far, whereas the other supernovas each followed a different path towards Sabaody.
And remember, all of that exploration happened before the Navy had access to the seastone technology so that their ships could pass through the Calm Belt, meaning that Roger MUST have travelled back and forth all this time, no shortcuts.

The theories these episodes provide is soo good. One of my favorite parts of one piece and the reason I stay reading the manga weekly is because of all the theorizing the community does and the reveals when they drop are just elite, it’s a great part of this series.

Watching/reading this for the first time your exact thought about Roger's and Newgate's clash is something like how cool this is and you can definitely believe they were the strongest in that era.
Watching this AFTER knowing the mechanics about that clash and every single information that came out until the most recent chapter? These two would have been deities in other series with how much they vastly outclass 95% of the verse.
Whitebeard will always be Anime's Greatest Dad, that alone makes him the goat for me.

Not confirmed but I think Roger after completing his journey 13 yrs ago heard the voice of Road Poneglyphs and that's how he knew the they provided the cordinates to certain island.
I think he didn't hear the voice of Road Poneglyps but there's something on Lodestar Island which is not revealed yet maybe a Poneglyph which reveals the existance of Road Poneglyphs and Laugh Tale. It has something to do with the voice of all things though.
