Thanks for sharing the solution! I’m a sewing machine mechanic but I only have 6 years under my belt. SO MUCH to learn!!! Which is why I like the job. I have seen similar issues on newer machines that have lots of step motors, but not on an older one quite like this. Thank you for all you do!
Something I found helpful when repairing vintage manual typewriters is helpful here too. If I wasn't sure where the seizure was located, I purged the bearings one at a time with lacquer thinner until I isolated the problem. Thanks for the video, cool machine.
