@@toadonwheels He did not, he still had a lot of usefull situations in the way that he forced people to his lane and he slowed down their push and etc but he was really not playing well this game. i know he has plenty of games with bad kda where he plays great and is outclassing his lane opponent but here they would never win if not the other lanes were superior.
But wasn't it the point? He literally blind picked Sion giving his team a room to breath and if I remember correctly Lulu was last pick and Rekky literally solo smoked enemy botlane 1v2 on lane. This matchup is mega unwinnable especially if you don't take Phase Rush. And on top of that he can't even do the death strat punishing Trundle's lack of waveclear because of new shitty ass TP and the bug with homeguard and deathguard. And if you fall behind against braindead statcheck champs like Trundle there is no comeback for you in isolation

@@cycl0ne999well yeah that's the law of diminishing returns, the more the champ dies the less they are worth so if they start to give 50 ish gold you aren't getting ahead if you miss 5 minions for that kill, which since sion gets 7K HP you take longer than it takes a wave to die to kill him

@@spectralsh1t660 Have you? The point of Bausen's Law is to get tempo advantage through mismatching your death timer with your opponent, and gold advantage through proxying and farming plates that way with perfect CS.
He had none of that. He had no tempo advantage and was getting pushed by the enemy laner, while being down 4k gold. When he succeeds in the law, he still has negative KDA but he's the one with all the benefits.

@@TheTimeBreakerMKD you get a bounty for afk farming , if the ur enemy laners gets like 3 kills and you are still 0-0-0 but ur ahead in cs you as 0-0-0 are getting a bounty on ur head because ur ahead vs 3 enemy ( jungle, supp and adc) , just because you are ahead in gold for farming you get a bounty because the enemy team is bad and ur team is inting.

@@galaxydragon8326 Once you break through the rank of, gold, you will realize the optimal way of getting access to gold is farming. HOLY SHIT THE TRUNDLE IS 14-0, yeah which is about 4.2k gold. That's about 130 cs. And the cs gives you levels, each level is worth about 400 gold.
Also towers are worth 700 gold, platings are worth 125 gold.
Sion's passive gives 4 hp per cs, and 15 for large enemies and takedowns. I don't know how much bonus hp he got from the passive, but by now Baus usually has 1.5-2k ish, let's say 1.7k. A giant's belt gives 350hp for 900 gold, so he got 4.5k gold worth of giants belts in hp. That's mental.
His team was 10k gold ahead, obviously he should have a bounty?
Bounty has been reworked to be gifted when there's a gold difference after a win streak, which is how it should be.
Who cares if you're 14-0, you give a 1k bounty even when your team is 10k gold behind, that makes no sense.
Gold is a resource, and the main way of getting this resource is by farming and taking down objectives. NOT by killing champions.

caedral is right in analyzing the gold difference rather than KDA, but this playstyle only lost its viability very recently due to explicit targeted nerfing.
granted, baus, as a pro, is responsible for patch effects, but this is literally the developers out to get him.

And that is a good thing. This strategy is worse than the whole duo mid and jungle funnel meta. The only way the funnel meta was worse, was in the aspect that is was more frequent and if you aren't a streamer or pro player, you rightfully get banned for feeding.
I think it ultimately comes down to how it affects the game. It's cool he found a way to game the system, but by doing so it gives the opponent two options: give the top laner what they want and chase him while he proxies, or do the same and proxy on the other side.
It doesn't make for diverse skill expression in the lane.
the fact that the enemy knows he's baus and they're still ganging up 4v1 against him is incredible. is he releasing alot of global taunt just by being a sion baus :D
Sion is really just a ticking time bomb. The longer the game goes on, the harder he is to deal with when he’s splitting. Unless you’re playing one of the few champions who specializes in %HP damage, you need to commit a lot of resources just to stop Sion from taking a tower. Even more so in this season since Divine Sunderer and LDR’s Giant Slayer are gone.

He also just got like 2k gold in 20 seconds bc he got the shutdown and t2 tower and wave bot. While also taking pressure and letting his team get atakhan. But oh no, he has 100g bounty. Baus exploiting the massive design flaws in this game will never not be entertaining.
The thing is, these Baus proxies work, but are not coordinated with the team. He seems to just constantly go for them, funneling resources into enemy mid or jungle that picks him off. I think the team should either force him into a traditional style of play or better coordinate with him the proxy.

I realy think hes wasting a lot of his deaths beacause hes not playing with the team. Because a lot of the times, all 5 of them are not ready to execute a play when baus dies, so they just lose on a lot of tempo. If they all 5 can comunicate that hes gonna die and get something on the other side, pulling the trigger fast like T1 are doing with barons.

I mean. Say what you will but even when boss performs underpar, he makes the entire enemy team bad. Look at the bronze decisions they are making. They actually think their win con is 5v1ing sion all game instead of getting gold through objectives and playing smart. They put all that into trundle for him to be useless the whole game and do nothing with the gold. If they really wanted to win they should have just ignored boss and used trundle to force wins on objective fights while baus side lanes. At any point in time even sending 1 person to help trundle was a bad call because trundle could handle sion by himself. To allocate those resources to that side of the map when they weren't needed is just bad decision making. Let baus be a noob magnet. Let them spend 30 seconds chasing a sion down the lane while your team secures dragon.

I guess this game wasnt his best performance, but he still tried to get the max out of his deaths, i think he tries to justify that keep trying to 3-5 man him is not gonna win the games for the enemy but to make it work is very stressful, becuz you have to adjust the tempo sion gives and get the shut downs. Its some of a kind of playstyle.
