Tony Stark might make you feel like he’s a cool exec with a heart of steel, but there’s a lot more going on underneath all that forced cool and playful banter. If you need any evidence of that, look at where he places all of his anxieties and worries, the designs of his suits. Throughout the MCU Iron Man’s suits have not only paralleled his development in the comic books but also paralleled his development as a human being. At first Tony’s heart is at stake, both metaphorically and literally as the Ten Rings set off an explosion that leaves shrapnel in his chest, creating the need for the Arc Reactor to save him. In that time he tries to find a way to go from Tony Stark to Iron Man in the smoothest fashion possible. If only it weren’t for interruptions like Whiplash, Loki and the Chitari, AIM and Adrian Killian with the Extremis project, Ultron, and Helmut Zemo all throwing his plans into disarray. Before Thanos arrived and assembled the Avengers against him, Tony’s journey was to go from the selfish industrialist to the kind of person that would throw himself on the grenade to save everyone else. The suit went from a malfunctioning piece of early tech to something that was an extension of him as he came to understand his new role as a superhero. On top of all that, there were some nice parallels with the suits of the comic books to give both fans a lot to enjoy. Let’s look at the evolution of the Iron Man suits and how Tony Stark evolved with them.

The nanotech suit was actually very powerful. He took some serious hits from Thanos and the infinity stones before the close quarter combat with him. The nanotech suit was also much faster in hand to hand combat.
It could have been better if he had more time with the stones. He would have understand the radiation of the stones and properly and made a proper conduit to channel them. Also annoyed he didn't get his hands on vibranium or the asgardian metal uru to enhance his armor.

@@thinhnguyen-lk8gy that's complete and utter bullshit. He had his iron legion phase in Ironman 3 where he built almost 100 different suits each one for a specific task. His nanosuit the we see in infinity wars and end game could have been made out of vibrainum like black panthers nano suit. I'll concede the asgardian metal since the dwarves are the ones who work it and they're in nidavellir.

You forgot that the Mark 85 has energy shields like the ones used by the Wakandan warriors. He also didn't sacrifice himself for half of life, but for all life. Thanos said he saw that he was wrong when he though people would be grateful, so he would "shred this universe down to its last atom" and make a grateful universe
incorrect theory. He sacrificed his life, only to bring back the one person, who is Peter Parker, meanwhile in another universe, peter died from Green Goblin and more spider-men and a woman came, so basically both earths and universes collided together, but from the one where the disappeared half came from, spiderman and the other half were in hyperspeed
He didnt just sacrifice himself for peter parker he did it for everyone including pepper and his daughter

Great video CBR. I love all of Tony's suits and they're all super cool, but my personal favourites are the mark 85, mark 50 and mark 46. Also today's the aniversary of the MCU, the day Iron man got released to cinemas and kicked off the greatest film franchise in the world. We miss you 3000 Tony!

I don't know but mark 2 and 3 with only different colors are amazing. The helmet is the mere difference between suits and those two and generally the first suits have perfect helmets

Thanks to the MCU for making Iron Man an unknown lower-tier superhero to the most popular superhero character in Marvel, as popular as Spiderman.
No actor can replace Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man.
For visual appeal, I like “Bones” the best. For badassery, I like Mark 50 of the armor porn strut in IW.

I always thought this but the symbiote suit would be terrible for re-entry missions or high falls or battles against thor. The symbiotes biggest flaw is its weakness to fire electricity and sound.
