Which one? LOL. Can you believe I had su suffer through 5 buffets and 1 a la carte during my 2-night stay there. I gained 1.5kg upon my return. 🤣

Great and fair review Eval. Will agree that it def needs some maintenance in places, but it's clean with a great vibe, with a fair amount to see and do. You pay for the location...and hopefully some new carpets in the future!
@@jamesb2954 thank you for your valued comment. They definitely do need to work on this hotel a lot. I would like to see it when the refurbishment has been completed. Unfortunately, the dated look of the rooms does make one question whether it’s worth paying so much money for a room at this location. nonetheless, it is a wonderful oasis to have so close to the airport.
For an Airport Hotel 🏨 it looks absolutely amazing 👏 the food looks great 👍 and the breakfast buffet is offering such a big variety. If you have the time between a flight or overnight, stay the perfect 👌 place. A great 👍 review Gee well done 👏 ✔️

I have been living in Bangkok for 18 years and use Suvarnabhum airport frequently. Will you believe me if I say that I never knew that this hotel even existed?

How's the noise level for sleeping
Yeah mean from the airplanes. You don't hear them at all. :-) You might only hear them when you're in the swimming pool or Thai garden.
I think even living in Bangkok it would be nice to stay there when you have those 5 or 6 am flights. A little breakfast at 3 then off to the terminal. Better than driving across town at that hour and not getting breakfast
precisely. I couldn’t agree more. And that is exactly what we are doing when we go to Phuket at the end of the month. We are staying at this hotel the night before and then catching our 6:30 AM flight in the morning after lovely breakfast.
Do you have to pass through immigration to stay here ?
Yes, you do. Even though the hotel is attached to the airport it is still outside the physical Airport building. Just a five minute walk, but you definitely will have to pass through Imigration.
Not bad for an airport hotel
Not at all. I loved that pool.
It's very expensive for what you get, in my experience. I understand that you're partly paying for the location near the terminal. But it's not actually very convenient for a hotel next to the terminal. It's hard to get to when you arrive with luggage. Which is why the hotel has to run a shuttle bus, but most people only find that for the trip back. Unless it's changed since I was last there, one whole wing of the two wings was reserved for smoking rooms, and the other for non-smoking rooms. But some of the non-smoking rooms stank of smoke. I had to be moved. I will say that the pool is nice if you get time to use it. As for the food, 1800 THB for a buffet ? Breakfast 750 THB ? Better to eat in the airport for a third or less, but it's a long walk. And rooms over 6000 THB ? There are similar or better hotels nearby for half that. And you still need a shuttle.

I agree with you on some aspects. When last did you use this hotel? I'm actually checking in there again tonight for an early morning flight.
I too wish that the rooms were less expensive. I do want to mention though that the entire hotel is now non-smoking.
I would also see better priced buffets elsewhere.
That said, I think the hotel is very convenient. I love the quite 5-minute walk to the airport.
You mentioned other nearby hotels. May I ask which hotels you are referring too. I appreciate you input and I'd like to follow up on that so that I can inform tourist of the other nearby options.
