I own a 2015 Tiffin Allegro 35QBA bunkhouse we live in full time, love it, and Tiffins customer service, Had an issue with some led lights and got a personal phone call from Mr. Bob Tiffin himself and was sent 28 all new led light fixtures to replace all mine. Now that is customer care at its finest.
Great video again ! And thanks 🙏 I am so happy that Tiffin is the big winner !!! Love the Open Road, I am driving my 3rd one. I am a proud owner of a 2013 Allegro 32CA, I can’t wait next summer to hit the road again. Thank you so much for your always professional and interesting videos, you’re both the Stars ⭐️ of Rv reviews.
I love these kind of videos. These tours are so helpful for me as I try to decide which vessel I’m going to get. Thank you for doing it, I’m sure it becomes redundant making video after video. 🙂
Just purchased a Forest River Georgetown GT7 36D with all options and double paine windows....out the door for 151K! The MSRP was 221. Right now in production and delivery by May! If you look at all the options the Georgetown was our number one pick! Happy Campers!
I own a 2016 Tiffin Open Road 34PA as you have shown. Excellent build quality but the best thing about Tiffin is the customer support, although you really don’t need it much. I tend to believe, as you have demonstrated the Tiffin is #1 with the Newmar a very close second. I would highly recommend Tiffin products for quality and customer service.
Great reviews!! Glad you made it down. Once my son is done with with HS Hockey, we will plan on coming down to Tampa to the show. 2 more seasons to go!
Glad you picked the Tiffin. I have a 35ft. Winnebago Vista LX Class A motor home and I always drool when I walk into a Tiffin at the RV shows. If I ever upgrade, I am sure that's what I will upgrade to. Safe travels, my friends.
We own a 2010 Tiffin Open Road Bunk House Model. We bought it new and have had it for well over 10 years. Tiffin has been exceptional in their support and warranty service. The coach has held up very well. I called Tiffin about 6 months ago. The deteriorating ultra leather coverings on the flex steel furniture has become a problem and needed replaced. I wanted to inquire about purchasing upholstery covers from Tiffin. They sent me, free of charge, replacement covers for the cockpit chairs and couch for our over 10 year old coach. That is Tiffin. I wouldn't own any other motorhome.
Great tours! Thanks for not making it 20 minutes each. 😂. I like the Tiffin layout the best too. Ok guys quit stalling we know you want a diesel. Looking forward to seeing your next vid!
Shagadelic!!! LOL !!! Love the pics !! Great job!! We were really close to going with the 34PA but they didn’t have the TV on the televator and we really wanted the bath and a half and we LOVE our Canyon Star !!
You guys nailed it.. I would have rated those four the same way..Tiffin has to get the #1 spot and the ability to get the Liquid Springs suspension at the factory is just a cherry on top! Top two was a tight race!
Hi all - We have a 2018 Thor Challenger 37FH. Full wall slide on passenger side and two slides driver side with bath and a half, large pantry, king bed and stacked washer and dryer. 800/8000 lb. hitch. It is interesting now that Tiffin has joined the Thor Motorcoach family of products as Damon did, who used to make the Challenger products years ago. Newmar also joined the Winnebago Industries line of products over the past year so the industry landscape is changing. We love our gasser! Could not afford a DP. Loved the review! Joe & Missy
2019 Open Road 32SA owner here. We do have the emblem on the entry door. I have noticed they make little changes from year to year to seemingly save a buck or two. Love, love love our OR. Very few tiny issues since the start and none that keep us from enjoying our coach. Thanks for the walkthrough. I came close to getting the Newmar 3014 (new in 2019) for getting into national parks et al. We come in under 35 feet and that hasn’t been a problem. Really amazing though how much room you have in a 30’11” coach with the Newmar!
Guess I have to agree because I have a Tiffin 34pa on order. It just finished production and ought to be at the dealer in a week or two. That show coach has two options that change up the living room quite a lot. First, a regular sleeper sofa is standard. That sofa with the recliner built in is an option. Really didn’t see it very often when I was shopping this model. Second, the dining bar with televator TV is also an option. The standard config is a booth dinette in that location with a TV mounted over the fireplace (which is also an option). This is new for 2021 and not much seen yet. Tiffin also offers an extendable table and four chairs as an option instead of the booth. In its standard config with the TV over the fireplace the 34PA isn’t much of a TV watchers coach, but it’s great for having friends over to hang out in the living room. Depends on your priorities I suppose.
Wondering why the new Fleetwood Bounder 35GL didn't make the list? Only negative we see is lack of clothes storage if you choose the W/D. What did you find? Love theater seating for TV watching!!!
Love your comments! I've heard to check on the different groups and see what people are saying about their coaches and their service departments. That can have a huge impact on your decision as to which might be the best choice. As always...love you guys! Be safe!
Guys that was a really good short list pick. I was impressed with the georgetown, the newmar roof seemed low but indeed the woodwork was stunning. The Tiffin was very elegant. But im a DP type of guys after i saw the ford dealer refusing to repair motorhome, i would not buy a ford simply because they ( dealers ) dont seem to stand behind their products
Good review. We own a Tiffin DP although we looked at gassers before making the decision to buy a DP. One of the features in both the gassers and DP lines that drew us to Tiffin over Newmar was that they vent the hood over the stove to the outside while the others vent to the inside. If you like to cook inside that makes a huge difference in both odor management and temperature control.
We are in the process of buying a Newmar now and found out that you just ask for exterior exhausting and they will install it as an option. Not that expensive, so I'm not sure why it's not standard or included with the convection oven upgrade.
@@Lab00Rat I ended up with a 2019 Tiffin Phaeton. In 2019 when I was a buyer I asked the dealer if the exterior exhaust was an option and they said no. I then asked if they could install it aftermarket and they said no. If it’s an option now that’s great but like you I think it should be standard.
Thank you Izzy & MJ. Good review of all the coaches. I enjoy all your videos, thanks so much. We had an F350 Lance 1191 Truck Camper combo until this year and are evaluating Class A gas as our next RV. The Tiffin 34PA you reviewed is one of our top choices. Love the dining bar which serves as a TV pedestal, extra counterspace for the kitchen, work area for a computer, using the 4K TV as a computer monitor, etc.. Love the heated tank compartment. Downside is Single Pane Windows = Dew = Boo!!!!
Love your channel. We have an Open Road 32SA and we love it. It does have the emblem on the entry door, and I agree it adds that little extra. We have only had a few problems, but the customer service is the best.
Great job. Fully agree in the line up. I have a Renagade but In the gaser class definitely Tiffin 34PA is my favorite and believe it’s the best option in that class category. Awesome job as always.
Just catching up with this. We have a 2019 Georgetown GT5 we are very pleased with. (Mostly because Tiffin didn't make a similar floor plan. LOL!) Just a note on the Insignia TVs. That is actually the Best Buy house brand and they are pretty good televisions. We put one in our old motorhome. It is also noteworthy that a booth dinette is an option on any of the Open Road models with the workstation.
No not sale outs, you know they are all great honestly I like the open over the other one because the washer and dryer is in the bathroom, because water and drains are close not all over the motor home lol
Nice video, thanks. Issues not addressed: Is cab heat powerful enough in winter to carry the coach while underway? Is cab A/C powerful enough to carry the coach while underway? Lastly, Do the coaches over 32' have roly-poly suspension? I've had these issues on a pricey gas coach. I expected more but in reality it turned out to be a camper instead of a coach. Next coach was a diesel pusher. That had inadequate cab heating for cold weather.
Toured both the Tiffin and Newmar gas units. We are Tiffin fans as we own on of their Vanleigh fifth wheels, but we both are now fans of Newmar. The 30' class A amazed us with the quality and thought it was beautiful. However, there was one major flaw for me, the big windows in the bedroom didn't open, which is a deal breaker for me as I love cross ventilation.
Nice reviews and justification for your selections. Yes, I am surprised you went Tiffin over Newmar, but I would agree with you on that. When we've looked at gassers, the Tiffin always seems to rise to the top. Really am interested to see your choices of DPs!!
I think you did a good and fair job. I think the top spot can float back and forth. Yes the liquid springs are nice bit a fairly expansive option. You could have them put on a Newmar to. I don't have a gas coach anymore I am totally spoiled with my Newmar Mountain Aire.😁
Nice honest review, we are between Tiffin and Newmar for a gasser. Still haven't made up our minds. I love the Tiffin you showed but would want the dinette option.
Have a Coachman Mirada 29 and looking to upgrade ,your picks are close to ours. We are leaning toward the Tiffin 34PA. Love the videos u make , thanks.
Was at the Tampa RV show, I really liked the Bounder for gas surprised it didn't make the cut, of course my fav was the Newmar Kountry Star, but not a gas. Would be great to see you guys do a test drive of the 2021 gassers with 7.3L V8 and much thicker sway bars and see if its a noticeable difference from the older V10 chassis.
@@EndlessRVing Great videos thanks! My current Vista has a nice work desk on the passenger dash and we use the heck out of it, so now I look for that and the Bounders do a a really nice one too, so does Thor. Was disappointed there where no Thor Miramars at the show, was on our list. I hope more manufacturers start paying more attention to desk space for work from the road!
Hello Folks. Great review of your top 4, I like this motorhome. You had upgraded your Newmar suspension to improve stability, will the Liquid Spring option on the Tiffin take care of those concerns? Thanks. Stay Safe.
Liquid Spring is another level of suspension upgrade. It’s like driving a DP. If you are interested in the system we have a contact and discount code. PM us for info Izzy
Just saw this video and thought it was well done. I agree with the ratings however, I may a bit biased . Just bought the 2022 Tiffin Open Road Gas. Phenomenal !! .
No, you guys are not sellouts. You've always said that Tiffin was almost your choice. But, Newmar and Tiffin have always been the creme de la creme in every product they manufacture. I will say however, that if I were buying one of these, I'd probably go with the Entegra simply because of the closet space. But I've always loved the 34 PA and even more so now that they've put the Televator and work station/dinette in there. That would be perfect for me! And even though I just said I'd buy the Entegra, I might choose the Tiffin anyway. I guess I'm fickle - LOL!!!! Really enjoyed this video as well as all of them you produce.
The 34PA was our second choice after the Emblem. Two negatives was the $35k premium and the TV was above the fire place in the past which was a horrible angle from the couch. The commode in the bathroom needs to be angled a little more for bigger owners...too close to the wall. Good list guys! Agree with all. Maybe the Bounder should have made the cut also. Thanks again.
We did not choose the open road in 2018 because we did not like the floor plan but not appears they have addressed those issues. We drove a 2021 SouthWind. Not a fan. Thanks for watching Scott Izzy
We are brand spanking new. I love all of them however my 2021 gas was 115k and it's the cheapest because we are new and not sure if we are going to like this new RV world. We drove it off the lot at General in Ocala Matt did the review and we are trying it out for 4 weeks at RV park before we drive it home to Delaware. If golf tournaments don't get in our way we will join you guys in NJ in August at your first gathering. We live in Lewes Delaware
Love our just purchased Allegro Open Road 34PA. Agree on the door emblem and ours has it! What’s with this one being without????? Were they in a hurry to get this model to the show????🤨
We have a Newmar Baystar and love it, but it was a difficult decision between The Tiffin and our Newmar, but we liked the wide variations of floor plans in the Baystar, nice video.
100% with you guys on your #1 & #2 ...those have been my 1&2 for over a year now since the 2020 models. Unfortunately I'm going to have to step to a DP because I have to be able to pull a 4300 lb car and a 1700 lb trailer which I think would be over the limit for either of those coaches. But, as far as gasser are concerned I think you hit the nail right on the head. Cheers and TY for the video. Joe P.
Apples for apples, the Entegra blows the Newmar away. Touchscreen full automation, residential fridge with ice dispenser, better viewing angle for tv, stackable washer dryer, etc.. etc..
When you look beyond the surface flash and get down to construction I assure you the Newmar gasser is a far better built coach. We strongly considered the Entegra prior to purchasing our Newmar but for us it was not all about the flash. Just the slide out assembly and wall construction on the Newmar is above and beyond what we have seen in other gas coaches. Thanks for watching.
I’d have a hard time choosing between Newmar and Tiffin, but I do think you got it bang-on. MJ must have arms of steel to hold that gimbal and camera still that long without bobbing.
@@EndlessRVing Probably but these days anything can happen...maybe even the Government may pay for some of it...lol...was more interested in any new upgrades or changes...seems the new motor is going well:)
@@EndlessRVing Not even lower RPMs....torque is supposed to be a tad more too with a new dash and larger sway bars...but maybe there isn't a difference did you drive the 26000lb chassis?
Just FYI, 225 tires are not 22.5 inches in any dimension. That's the sidewall width in mm. You can look up what those numbers mean but basically they equate to nothing you care about and you have to plug them into a calculator or look them up in a table to find the tire size.
Demartini RV has a 3626 that says it has electronic stability control upgraded suspension. Your thoughts? However, none of the rest of their bay stars description say the same.
Those are some really nice coaches. I'd really like to drive a nice gas with the 22s to see how it rides. I bet the entry level gas coach I had on 19s doesn't ride as good as these new models.
There is a big difference in ride quality between different price points on the gassers. We have experienced that first hand. Thanks for watching and the comment. Izzy
Insignia is not a Chinese brand. It is owned by Best Buy. It is not a high end brand but it is made with high quality parts. It is in fact made with mostly LG parts.
Nicely done again guys - Thank you for sharing. Love ya'lls opinions. We have come down to a super C Accolade 37K or if we go gas A we like the Georgetown 7 or the Emblem, but are going to have to check out the Tiffan for sure. Will ya'll be doing any on your top 5 entry level DPs to compare against the higher end Gassers? :)
Not doing that video in the near future but we would certainly take a higher end gasser vs some entry DP’s which are trash in our opinion. Thanks for watching Izzy
@@EndlessRVing Thank you for ya'lls opinions on these noob questions. We are doing all the homework and getting opinions that we can before next year buying one :)
@@EndlessRVing You're welcome! This is the coach we just ordered for many reasons. We head out next March on a five year trip. Retirement lol. People such as you guys have helped us tremendously!
Both great brands between Newmar and Tiffin. Gassers I would agree Tiffin is a notch above, but in Diesels - Newmar has too many options and higher tier luxury models that they take the cake. Plus if you have a family, Newmar has multiple diesel floorplans with bunks whereas Tiffin has only 1 Phaeton model (with just 1 bath). When we upgrade our Tiffin gasser, we're moving to Newmar diesel for our family.

This was great info. I think we may just go with a gas pusher for our 1st ever RV.
Good luck on your purchase.
I think you did a good and fair job. I think the top spot can float back and forth. Yes the liquid springs are nice bit a fairly expansive option. You could have them put on a Newmar to.
I don't have a gas coach anymore I am totally spoiled with my Newmar Mountain Aire.😁
Nice coach you have. Thanks for watching.
Izzy
Nice honest review, we are between Tiffin and Newmar for a gasser. Still haven't made up our minds. I love the Tiffin you showed but would want the dinette option.
There are different floor plan layouts in both brands. Thanks for watching and the comment
Refrigerator has a tricky lock 🔐 lol great looking rigs, thank you.
Thanks for watching.

Have a Coachman Mirada 29 and looking to upgrade ,your picks are close to ours. We are leaning toward the Tiffin 34PA. Love the videos u make , thanks.
Awesome, such a great rig. Good luck! - MJ
We did drive a SouthWind. Our opinion it’s not for us. Little different on the sway. Zero difference in acceleration.
Thanks for watching.
Izzy

Just saw this video and thought it was well done. I agree with the ratings however, I may a bit biased . Just bought the 2022 Tiffin Open Road Gas. Phenomenal !! .
I agree with MJ. Love the Tiffin seal on the door.
Awesome, glad you enjoyed it! - MJ
Bonjour il est vraiment magnifique ce camping car il est vraiment trop beau j'adore et il est super magnifique
Ça l'est vraiment. Nous l'aimons là-bas. Merci d'avoir regardé. :)
@@EndlessRVing il est vraiment magnifique
The 34PA was our second choice after the Emblem. Two negatives was the $35k premium and the TV was above the fire place in the past which was a horrible angle from the couch. The commode in the bathroom needs to be angled a little more for bigger owners...too close to the wall. Good list guys! Agree with all. Maybe the Bounder should have made the cut also. Thanks again.
We did not choose the open road in 2018 because we did not like the floor plan but not appears they have addressed those issues. We drove a 2021 SouthWind. Not a fan. Thanks for watching Scott
Izzy
We are brand spanking new. I love all of them however my 2021 gas was 115k and it's the cheapest because we are new and not sure if we are going to like this new RV world. We drove it off the lot at General in Ocala Matt did the review and we are trying it out for 4 weeks at RV park before we drive it home to Delaware. If golf tournaments don't get in our way we will join you guys in NJ in August at your first gathering. We live in Lewes Delaware
Awesome hope to see you at the meetup. FYI if you plan on going we suggest booking very soon. Thanks for watching.
Izzy
Love the picks, can wait to see you DP picks.
Thanks William! - MJ
Me too. I can't wait to see the top 4 DP choice's. 🙂
Great Job! Keep it up. I cant do a gasser. Need the Pusher. Have you seen the older Foretravel 36 foot tag? Not to many out there.
Have not seen although not sure I would want a tag at 36 ft. Thanks for sharing.
Izzy
Love our just purchased Allegro Open Road 34PA. Agree on the door emblem and ours has it! What’s with this one being without????? Were they in a hurry to get this model to the show????🤨
Maybe who knows LOL. Thanks for watching.
Izzy
I like them all
Yep cant go wrong with any of them! - MJ
Enjoyed the video.
We have a Newmar Baystar and love it, but it was a difficult decision between The Tiffin and our Newmar, but we liked the wide variations of floor plans in the Baystar, nice video.
Both great coaches. Thanks for watching.
Izzy
100% with you guys on your #1 & #2 ...those have been my 1&2 for over a year now since the 2020 models. Unfortunately I'm going to have to step to a DP because I have to be able to pull a 4300 lb car and a 1700 lb trailer which I think would be over the limit for either of those coaches. But, as far as gasser are concerned I think you hit the nail right on the head.
Cheers and TY for the video.
Joe P.
Thanks for watching and good luck on your DP choice.
Izzy
We have a 2020 Tiffin 34PA. We love it!!!
Thanks for sharing
Izzy
Izzy, MJ make a livestream!!!! That is gonna be awesome!!!
We do livestreams form our ERV insiders.
Izzy
Apples for apples, the Entegra blows the Newmar away. Touchscreen full automation, residential fridge with ice dispenser, better viewing angle for tv, stackable washer dryer, etc.. etc..
When you look beyond the surface flash and get down to construction I assure you the Newmar gasser is a far better built coach. We strongly considered the Entegra prior to purchasing our Newmar but for us it was not all about the flash. Just the slide out assembly and wall construction on the Newmar is above and beyond what we have seen in other gas coaches.
Thanks for watching.
Good reviews of the gassers. It was a gas watching!
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Izzy
I’d have a hard time choosing between Newmar and Tiffin, but I do think you got it bang-on. MJ must have arms of steel to hold that gimbal and camera still that long without bobbing.
You saw the Ms Biceps pics Gary
Izzy
Great Job 👏
Thanks for watching
Izzy
Wonder what is coming new for the Newmar Bay Star's 2022...any guesses...will know in April...like 90 days from now!
I assume a big price increase!!
Izzy
@@EndlessRVing Probably but these days anything can happen...maybe even the Government may pay for some of it...lol...was more interested in any new upgrades or changes...seems the new motor is going well:)
@@legaleagleandpaws8198 we drive the née V8 in Tampa. We did not notice any difference in performance.
Thanks for watching.
Izzy
@@EndlessRVing Not even lower RPMs....torque is supposed to be a tad more too with a new dash and larger sway bars...but maybe there isn't a difference did you drive the 26000lb chassis?
Just FYI, 225 tires are not 22.5 inches in any dimension. That's the sidewall width in mm. You can look up what those numbers mean but basically they equate to nothing you care about and you have to plug them into a calculator or look them up in a table to find the tire size.
Thanks for watching.
Izzy
We just bought the 34 PA Toms River, N J. Slightly different configuration.
Awesome! We love it. Enjoy yours! - MJ
Beautiful!❤️🇨🇦❤️ Cheers!!!
Thank you. 😃 - MJ
The thing you forgot was the length of the motorhome
Demartini RV has a 3626 that says it has electronic stability control upgraded suspension. Your thoughts? However, none of the rest of their bay stars description say the same.
Those are some really nice coaches. I'd really like to drive a nice gas with the 22s to see how it rides. I bet the entry level gas coach I had on 19s doesn't ride as good as these new models.
There is a big difference in ride quality between different price points on the gassers. We have experienced that first hand.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Izzy
I like Tiffin. But I DON'T like the No dinette and they only sleep 4.
Insignia is not a Chinese brand. It is owned by Best Buy. It is not a high end brand but it is made with high quality parts. It is in fact made with mostly LG parts.
So it’s made in China?
Nicely done again guys - Thank you for sharing. Love ya'lls opinions. We have come down to a super C Accolade 37K or if we go gas A we like the Georgetown 7 or the Emblem, but are going to have to check out the Tiffan for sure. Will ya'll be doing any on your top 5 entry level DPs to compare against the higher end Gassers? :)
Not doing that video in the near future but we would certainly take a higher end gasser vs some entry DP’s which are trash in our opinion.
Thanks for watching
Izzy
@@EndlessRVing Thank you for ya'lls opinions on these noob questions. We are doing all the homework and getting opinions that we can before next year buying one :)
34 PA also has a washer dryer.
Thanks James. :)
@@EndlessRVing You're welcome! This is the coach we just ordered for many reasons. We head out next March on a five year trip. Retirement lol. People such as you guys have helped us tremendously!

Tiffan chairs. Do these become deadly projectiles when you hit the brakes?
I’m certain there is a way to secure them. Thanks for watching
Izzy
Both great brands between Newmar and Tiffin. Gassers I would agree Tiffin is a notch above, but in Diesels - Newmar has too many options and higher tier luxury models that they take the cake. Plus if you have a family, Newmar has multiple diesel floorplans with bunks whereas Tiffin has only 1 Phaeton model (with just 1 bath). When we upgrade our Tiffin gasser, we're moving to Newmar diesel for our family.
Can't go with with either., Good luck! - MJ
