As someone who has held Nvdia for many years & held when it was called an overpriced gaming stock at $300..& sold off .. went to $100/ I read a lot I listen to JHuang for almost a decade any chance I get... I never listened to analysts (really grateful I did not) I think the price is much higher than anyone is saying & will go to pre split price... imo maybe after Blackwell.. perhaps longer.. but I think that's where it is heading. Hopefully I am correct.. so far for at LEAST 8 years I have been.. so we'll see (always keep in mind it is run by a genius visionary idk think any alive right now can really see his vision for the future... I listen but def not in his league (hahaha) he saw what is happening soooo long ago before any of us knew.. no one was talking about AI.. so that's really important!!) Other good chip co's to invest in .. but why they do not & NEVER will have him ie cannot compete w/o him not to mention he is already in a future past AI.. it will never end.. btw i'm not bragging or anything of that sort just want people to know what I learned over almost a decade maybe it can help someone be aware & make some money big money imo.. Over that time analysts were wrong every time!!!!

Missed the boat but just as they split I bought some otm leap calls for early 2025. Every damn tech stock has Pretty much doubled. Worth a gamble maybe ? Play with what you can afford to lose I guess 😅

NVidia needs to use their equity price as currency and start buying up something in the consumer space such as Sony. In the alternative others need to be making themselves as good to become a buyout target such as IBM. Interest rate borrowing costs long term seem to have peaked but USA energy prices are still crazy high relative to one Year ago. Expecting ice Platform vehicle pricing to start to head lower big time here tho not as spectacular as pure play BEV. Long $tsla Tesla Motors strong buy.

$170 to 180 near term. Seems to be the sweet spot for the magnificent 6. Great stock to hold. I think it will peak in 2027 after that the competition might have caught up. Though we are moving towards having only mega corporations in the future I believe. They will simply buy any company that is showing promise and absorbing them. The money will be in spotting these smaller companies.
I don't think the stopper is competition. I think the stopper is lack of ROI from the buyers.

I think the OP was joking. But, the US GDP isn't that relevant. I mean the S&P500 has a market cap around 45T. The NASDAQ is also greater than the US GDP. The GDP is just the wealth generated in one year. The global semiconductor supply on the other hand... ;-)
Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock and crypt0 market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and follow a strategy with a long term edge.

When such a large amount of people get piled up into one company, its a receipe of a disaster. All common people, be aware. IF Nvidia Chips price goes up, Cost of softwares will eventually go up as well. All Large cloud operators will bump the price of their infrasturure to other people.

If he made money, congrats but I’m holding onto my shares. Prior to the split, I bought in at about $225 per share, so if it does drop, I’m still way ahead in profits.

@@peterlong2580 Thats not the issue. Issue is that Google, Meta, Amazon, Apple and Microsoft are all developing their own chips so Nvidia can burst after that very fast.
@Zoltan1251 nvidia is miles ahead of all of them though when it comes to AI chips, of course things can change... but nvidia is also going to start making AI software, cpu's for pc's and self driving software as well. It's not all about chips
@@peterlong2580 They are ahead but by not much. Their strength is in software (which they already have, no idea what you mean by starting, maybe you mean their own AI model), they have booked out chips fabs and they have closed loop ecosystem, between chips, software and output. Meaning, you cant migrate anything out of their environment. Since all early AI models started on Nvidia chips they cant migrate any data so they are funneled to buy more from Nvidia.
The main issue is, funnily enough, margins they make. Their margins are over 70%!!! Thats insanity. Basically meaning that its worth it for other to develop their own AI ecosystems. RnD costs have to be higher than margins Nvidia is making for it to be infinite loop business. With new fabs going live in the near future, growing limited usability cases for AI and competition they have to slash their margins sooner or later. They are going to be leaders in AI, sure, but being the largest company in the world? Not sure.

It doesn’t make sense. Nothing goes up in straight line. I see tons of people overreact and get exited until they get burned. Love AI but this hype is not sustainable. Remember Tesla and EV in 2020… look at Tesla stock today. My point is there are going to be tons of competition soon. The prices are not making any sense. Exaggeration, current evaluation is nonsense
You can't compare Tesla and NVDA. Tesla only have EV's and a very aging portfolio at that. They couldn't pivot to ICE vehicle sales on the EV downturn. They also don't have the ability to roll out new product lines like Hyundai and BYD have for example. On top of all that, the incredible competition that is only getting larger.
And I'm sure you'll say the robotic cars are coming. They still haven't been given government approval and still obviously can't be bought.
NVDA have a portfolio stack that no one so far can even come close to, so while - yes- they will have competition (and already do), it is realistically, so far behind them that you can understand the success.

you don't have to sell, you can always trim. For example, for every Trillion in market cap, sell 25%.
When it gets to a reasonable price, you can sell 5-10% every month until it's gone.
