Hi again and thanks for replying... I also have Makita MLT100 and will be replacing the Rip Fence and have purchased an UPGRADE KIT made BY Sherwood that provides 2 new rails and a very solid fence that is well braced and also a hook at the top to go under the rail to hopefully minimize flexing. (it was not cheap at Aust$225 but I hope that rectifies the problem) I am also going to make a crosscut sled to eliminate the rattle in the table tracks and I am going to chuck the poorly designed sliding tray on the left and just use the sled and I am going to make flap up tables for the top and the right hand side.

Michael Dillon Good idea to lose the sliding table. It's a terrible design. I ditched mine about 20 minutes after I got the saw!
Can you please post a link to the rip fence upgrade kit you mentioned. I can't find anything online for it. I would be interested to see one.

nice did the same but when i cut the sled the first time it was over a mm thicker than the blade. that's how much of set the blade is.also had to machine the blade retainer to fix blade runout. good luck with your project as i have given up trying to tune it. i just use it for rough cuts now if at all. i noticed he use another saw do build the fence that may tell you something
La verdad , entendi parte de lo que seguramente , este chico trato de hacernos entender a full ,,, pero bueno la cuestion del idioma nos hace que tengamos estas dificultades , de todas maneras me gusto y mucho el video .. Saludos desde argentina ....

must be very bad saw if you go to another saw to do the work. so fence is god but how do you get the blade in line with the miter slots (t-slots) very dangerous when not lined up

I think Makita mlt 100 is one of the worst table saw. It does not worth its price. Fence, sliding system, slots, plates all have problems and bad design. Need too much modifications. I saw many cheaper machines have better than this machine. I am personally not recommend this machine. This is shame of makita.....
