    I'm glad everyone is so optimistic about the injuries. I don't mean to be pessimistic but I'm a realist. There is a breaking point. If we can get past this Packers game, I think we could get a couple guys back and be on. If we lose to the Packers, it could cost the 1 seed And/or the division. We need our offense to carry us until we can get few guys back and hopefully stop the bleeding. That makes this Packers game, one of, if not the most important game of the season. If the offense is going to carry us, a shootout may be the best scenario. We need to continue to run well and Goff has to play his best ball. I'm really nervous for the first time this season because of the injuries and how important this game is

    New players have fresh legs. I think that's going to be a bonus for the Lions

    Cleveland Browns last year had so many injuries. They made it to the playoffs with all those injuries and got embarrassed to the Texans. That's what I'm worried about with the Lions

    With the additions Brad made this weekend, I'm feeling a little better but, still nervous.

      @RockedOnPodcastNetwork they are building incredible depth, one or two of these four recent additions will contribute in the post season

    Its extremely simple imo the offense is gunna have to score 35+ points a game they can't settle for FGs like against Chicago they MUST put it in the endzone on those opportunities because the defense is just decimated with injuries hopefully we can guys back for the playoffs

    Why does everyone assume that the defensive injuries are going to STOP? Every game we keep losing one to four more players. Statistically if something has been regularly happening, it is going to continue to happen. There is likely something about the way the Lions do their thing that is triggering injuries.

    Did Bill forget how the defense shut out the texans in the 2nd half and overall held them to 23 points

    But we have ZaDarius Smith and Jamal Adams and Jonah Williams..plus

    • @RockedOnPodcastNetwork
      @RockedOnPodcastNetwork  8 дней назад

      True, its just Jonah is not a #1 he is a 2nd or 3rd string player. Jamal may not see the field as a safety, could be a linebacker hybrid role. With Kwon added I feel better but health is an issue. I think we are better than advertised, but man are we up against it.

    Pressures and sacks are also created by our DBs and safties. It's not all about a 2 second rush Billy

    Yes Mike but I think Backup is protecting players who are starting for us! We have 8 of our Available starts, but they can’t play every down!!!

    Getting pressure has been there, just finishing with a sack hasn't. I disagree with Coach, the secondary has been solid with Kerby and Branch. Arnold had a rough start with penalties but has been better every week. Secondary is our strength now with the injuries. Linebackers and DE will be a struggle going forward. Hopefully we have enough to field a team come playoffs.

    DEFENSE wins superbowls......we will see if the defensive injuries affect them TH against the GB slackers

    • @RockedOnPodcastNetwork
      @RockedOnPodcastNetwork  8 дней назад

      Thats actually not true. Thats old days football prior to 2005. The last 15 superbowls have been won by offense. The stats are there and I have discussed it many times.

      @@RockedOnPodcastNetwork I am even less worried if offense wins Super Bowl, Lions have a great and balanced offense

    Nice vid. Idk about the defense as a whole but one guy who comes to mind is Kerby Joseph. He plays without regard for himself or others on the field. Not in a comendable, "go get em Kerby" type of way either. He isn't skilled at tackling in the open field and defaults to low IQ, head down play. Reckless at best and dirty at worst. I think it is dirty, but i dont think its from a point of him wanting to hurt guys or himself, I think he just lacks skill and discipline. Got away with weak tackling it through high school, college ball when his size and ability was better than the others on the field and never polished being a consistently good, fundamentally strong with his tackling when guys are his size or bigger. In the NFL that doesn't fly and he resorts to turning into a human missle that stares at his toes when he launches to make hits. He's gonna injure himself, his teammates and opposing team players throughout his career if he doesn't figure out how to square up, keep his eyes open , head up get low, wrap up and finish the tackle. Good luck on Thursday against GB. Should be a hell of a game with potentially major NFC playoff implications as the regular season comes to an end.

    Add u bragging about getting pressure on one of the worst o lines in the league

      Not getting pressyre would be the problem. Getting pressure with 3rd string players says something. Troll
