Frames of ICC Berlin 📸 Photo Walk in Germany´s largest Lost Place [4K]

Photo walk with the Canon EOS RP and RF 35mm 1.8 lens. 📸 Last summer, I had the chance to get inside Germany´s largest Lost Place, the ICC Berlin, to make a photo walk. The Internationales Congress Centrum Berlin (ICC), once a vibrant hub for groundbreaking congresses, has a captivating history since its opening in 1979. Join me on this relaxing photo walk through the "spaceship" of Berlin.
Today, the Congress Centrum stands as an impressive lost place waiting to be rediscovered. The gigantic building, Germany's most important congress centre until 2014, is reminiscent of a spaceship with its more than 300-metre-long aluminium façade.
The construction work started in 1975, just six years after the first moon landing. So the voluminous building with its shape and aluminium façade was called a spaceship or UFO. It became a popular postcard motif and landmark of future-oriented West Berlin.

Ich finde es auch mega. Müsste nur intensiv genutzt werden. Mal schauen. Ab 2026 soll es da voran gehen. Hoffentlich nicht erst 2077 nach Berliner Art... 😉 Beste Grüße!

My latest info is, that they want to use the building as a centre for art and culture. Let´s hope that they will be able to realize their plans.
