Such a sad but yet happy story. So many different emotions. However, I’m so glad that both your previous husbands loved you unconditionally. May this 3rd one be the one for you to grow old with. You deserve so much love.
Its not all luck. Most hmong people dont marry people for the right reason. But this lady looks for the right quality in men and sets bounded for a healthy relationship, thats why all her husbands loved her and her marriage are good. Most marriages are for money, convenience, lies, looks…never last.

The way I see this story, she's had multiple husbands, but her true love is her American husband. I don't think she can ever forget him or love her new husband as much as her American husband. No matter how much he can love her, he'll never compare to the American husband. She's just a wife to her new husband, I don't think there's any love given to her new husband completely. Sure, it takes time to heal, and she's slowly moving forward, but it's sad she can never love her new husband as much as she loves her American husband. I say this because her story isn't only about her life of husband's. It's mainly about the American husband. Sure, she never asks for it, but don't move forward just because someone recommended it. It's sad to listen to her story to not hear her talk more about her new husband, only mentioning her American husband as the best husband out of all her husband's sort of speak. If anything, showing that her new husband is her new love and her past husband's are her life experiences would have been better. I feel bad for the new husband that he's just a shoulder to lean on. I'm not being negative, but that is the way I see it.

Such is fate. Everyone have their own fate and luck. You were very lucky to have 3 wonderful and generous and kind. They loved you and treated you as a queen. You are one lucky lady with three gentlemen. Most of us wished for one and weren't lucky to ever find, let alone one, but you got three. Just live and enjoy your life, however long or short.
What kind of church did you go to? The way you’re talking about luck, curses,fate, white people act this way, Hmong people act this way etc is disturbing.
