First of all, thank you for filming the whole concert. It seems like the setlist varies from city to city. However, it mostly revolves around the Dark Christmas album. I love the album. Truly underrated. The revamping of most of those songs was impeccably done with truly crazy contemporary vocal work done by Tarja. However, I do miss the more classical oriented Christmas concerts. Emmanuel was lackluster. Dark Christmas is the first Tarja composed song that fails to impress me. The lyrics feel somewhat hollow, the music has truly beautiful moments but overall it feels like it never delivers.... For instance, "Together", now that one was an instant checkmate. Now to the highlights, jingle bell rock is just awesome. The arrangement is fantastic, Tarja sounds fantastic, her chest voice is perfect for it. Holy Night and her Ave Maria... now that's what we are here for. The higher the note, the fuller and more at home she sounds. Gorgeous high notes with such rich vibrato. I truly missed it. A shout out to that very nice guitar during Walking in the air. Again, thanks for sharing.
