I asked God what was my purpose? and one day a random thought came to my mind "sing, to bring people to the kingdom of God. So, my spiritual gift is singing. But, I realized that every experience in my life whether it was with friends, jobs or volunteering I helped others. God, gave me an assignment to HELP people overcome what God has done for me. I believe that God is using me to help people.
I am being drawn to a christian commune to find others to help me and others grow. People always say i have a strong heart, generosity, compassion and honesty. I like music also, drums and guitar. Hope your path finds you well : )
i dont think singing is a spiritual gift , imo its a gift that he gave you when he made you a lot of people can sing really well and most of them dont even believe in God
My story of how I have discovered Gods call for my life came from my friends baptism I went in support of her. After the service a member of her church suprised me with the question "you seem to know bible well, have you considered becoming a pastor?" This question saw me seek out the answer for over 6 months in constant prayer. I'm now in the process of developing these skills and supporting others with what I'm learning along the way
If God calls, He will equip. All are servants of God with the same purpose of serving His body for His Kingdom purpose. For those who humble themselves, He will exalt. Start small n wait on God to open doors. All the best!

Introvert. 80% alone time with thoughts. Read, write, personal worship, nature photography. 20% most of that-prefers one to one interaction. A listener, cant stand mistreatment, injustice. Gives up what little i have for someone in need, which people deemed, foolish. Might the calling be serving, mercy?
Then maybe you will have a gift to be an author of a books. I think you have a creative mind. Inspiring thoughts. Share it. Learn from others, and see it for yourself. And a one on one sharing could help someone to increase their faith.

I have a passion for writing and would like to be a writer. God has given me a gift for it. I’m sixteen. But I only want to do it if it’s what God wants me to do. Here’s the thing of why I think He might be calling me towards writing: I was praying in the bathroom after having a bad day. I write these posts on Facebook in hopes to inspire people and witness/etc. So, I was like ‘ God, if you want me to do this, just let me know. ‘ and, a few minutes later, I walked out of the bathroom to eat, and my mom told me that she’d ran into somebody who told her that my posts on Facebook were inspirational. I was also at the doctor today when the receptionist told my mom and I that she’d found out that her mom May have breast cancer and my posts had made her feel better. I’m just trying to decide if these are signs or what they are. What do you guys think?
I know it’s been a while but I do hope that you have been writing! It sounds like you are blessed with being able to reach people through your words! This is so amazing and definitely sounds like God has an influence in this area of your life. Please do not be discouraged and pursue this passion!!

My problem is that yes, I’m introverted, but having a difficult time finding a job to support myself. My natural talents aren’t exactly money makers. ☹️. I am also single, so dealing with looking for a job is draining beyond belief. My anxiety is out the roof. I’m trying so hard to keep the faith and trust.

My spiritual gift is using my feelings and not my thoughts to live my life. In purpose of my life that is where it differs from my gift. Mu life purpose hasn't fully developed where I can literately say what I'm meant for at the moment. Until God himself manifest that purpose to where I will let others know.

I want to learn new skills and I know God will show me my skills/gifts in his timing,but if there is something we don't feel lead to do in our hearts (specifically career related in this case) does that mean God is not likely calling you to that specific thing?
I think when it comes to careers you should certainly look at your desires but you must also look at the practical goals of a career which is provision. I don't think we should expect to always equate our careers with our callings. Sometimes you will never get paid to use your spiritual gift. So a career should also be chosen for it's ability to help you survive and provide. With that said, you should choose a career you want to do and not just the highest paying job. But don't choose a career that can't pay the bills either.

Hey mark. I’m constantly feeling like this major I’m in and have chosen for a while. I’m honestly miserable because . He’s given me gifts of writing and speaking which I’m using and love it. I fought off getting up in front of people out of fear but I knew inside that I’d like it if I took it seriously. Well when it comes to my major, I’ve questioned it before I knew God and before I came to college but I stuck with it. And now I’m here and constantly struggling and constant on the verge of losing everything because I can’t get the grades. It’s like I always fall short in some way. Don’t do enough or don’t have enough to give . I’ve felt like God wants me to stay here and persevere. But I’ve late been bad at knowing when to let go. I don’t through anything but this is pointless to me now. And I just don’t get why God would want me to start here and constantly fail and barely feel like I even care about this major in the grand scheme of things. I want to go to Mrs school and this major is the hardest major there is . Which is fine if I didn’t need As in classes that most people can barley pull a C in. For a while, I’ve wanted to do animations and bring things to life that way. Without all the technical stuff I struggle with. I just don’t see how this is what I’m made to do or built for at all. I’m a Biomedical Engineering major. I thought it was a good idea lore so because of the classes that I need for med school and the money. Wat I know is calling from God is to be a priest n spread the gospel, n to b a gifted person means u surrounded by things God has blessed u with, there are different type of gifted, healing, talking to ghost, makes things happens n seeing things or prophecies... One season I was called to learn how to plant foods, herbs, M edicinals ect.....next season I was called to compassion, to be very mindful, sincere, next season I was called to for the love of Gaia and all she has to offer, we are all connected, next season, taking really good care of myself, the sacred secretion, the human anatomy, how our bodies talk to us, next season gmos, next season how to stay connected not only to gaia, but all animals, next season how to stay to myself, how to quiet the mind so I can hear GOD SPEAK, NEXT SEASON how not to be too fast with the tongue, next season, pray until smthng happens, next season, letting go of all earthly materialistic things everything.....and so on, like GOD put me on fast forward crash courses to an extreme education of sorts, it still goes on and on and for that I'm so darn GREATFUL I'm overwhelmed with education I feel like I've been downloaded over and over and over. I have a very nice relationship w/GOD and for that I know he will not foresake me.

Since KJV uses an outdated English that many do not understand, I believe it is wiser to use a Bible that accurately translates in a modern English. I couldn't enjoy being around Christian people unless they are actually willing to interact in a meaningful way, otherwise it becomes draining and feels like I'm in a minefield or walking on eggshells.

For a while, I’ve wanted to do animations and bring things to life that way. Without all the technical stuff I struggle with. I just don’t see how this is what I’m made to do or built for at all. I’m a Biomedical Engineering major. I thought it was a good idea lore so because of the classes that I need for med school and the money. But I want to do something I like and I don’t get why God would want to keep me here
God might do something through that major, you never know

Wat I know is calling from God is to be a priest n spread the gospel, n to b a gifted person means u surrounded by things God has blessed u with, there are different type of gifted, healing, talking to ghost, makes things happens n seeing things or prophecies... My calling is to be a priest, but am not ready!! I wanna live like normal people but the spirit of God won't allow me.. Am stuck no ESCAPE..

So r u singing? Hows that going for u? I had a similar gift (rap) i always had this clear vision abt using it as a platform to call pplto the good. but when i left the us i got really sidetracked. Now im 36 and it feels childish like a step back, like i should be doing bigger things. At the same time the weight of me never doing it is messing me up..
I think I need to discover my gift. I have no clue how to do that.
I did a study from Chip Ingram years ago that I found helpful. You could google it and I'm sure you'd find it.

One season I was called to learn how to plant foods, herbs, M edicinals ect.....next season I was called to compassion, to be very mindful, sincere, next season I was called to for the love of Gaia and all she has to offer, we are all connected, next season, taking really good care of myself, the sacred secretion, the human anatomy, how our bodies talk to us, next season gmos, next season how to stay connected not only to gaia, but all animals, next season how to stay to myself, how to quiet the mind so I can hear GOD SPEAK, NEXT SEASON how not to be too fast with the tongue, next season, pray until smthng happens, next season, letting go of all earthly materialistic things everything.....and so on, like GOD put me on fast forward crash courses to an extreme education of sorts, it still goes on and on and for that I'm so darn GREATFUL I'm overwhelmed with education I feel like I've been downloaded over and over and over. I have a very nice relationship w/GOD and for that I know he will not foresake me.
What God are you listening to? Gaia is the greek goddess of the earth. The true creator God is one. And He came to earth in the form of a man Jesus Christ. He is the only God, the way the truth and the life, no one gets to God the Father unless they go through Jesus. Gaia is a false god and won't lead you to the one true God or to heaven.

The original manuscripts were written in Hebrew and Greek. I believe you should use the translation that best helps you understand the original language. Since KJV uses an outdated English that many do not understand, I believe it is wiser to use a Bible that accurately translates in a modern English. I understand that some are very passionate about KJV, and I respect that, but I won't be using it personally.

Like Ik the niv (I think you use that version) it has certain verses that are switch around but the kjv explains it in detail and everything about the kjv is accurate. I would say use the kjv and explains the verses as you go. I know you not going to but that just me.
