After using the BLON BL03 earphones for nearly 3 years, these are my thoughts. Long story short- YES! They're still worth buying in 2023! They're one of the best budget IEMs for gaming, music listening, and audio editing.

I'm using this for 1.5 years. Two months back I accidentally left it in the roof for almost 2 days, at that time it sustained the heavy rain in night and also hot weather for the next full day. After that my blo3 still works fantastic just like newly bought. So its having good buid quality.
Damn, that's impressive 😯👏🏼
Which dac do you use
@@kaushalpopat7127
I'm not using any dac. Just plugin with 3.5mm in my mobile and I use Apple music Android for lossless and high res audio quality
I've tried so many budget IEMs and the main goal was to find anything which I'd consider an upgrade over BL03 but nothing beats them for me. These are totally still worth buying but deserve a little bit of treatment such as cable and tips change. CP100 tips help to get deeper insertion, firm seal and nicehck 16 core c16-4 cable matches the shells so beautifuly. If you've never owned BL03 do yourself a favor and get it instead of following just new releases.
I still use mine. They're great 👍🏽
I was searching for reviews on IEMs, checked ur other Blon BL03 video and now you have uploaded this...What a coincidence..
Illuminati confirmed 🗿
Fell in love from the time I heard.. Still the king.. My cable broke so going to buy a new one
Yeah, I'm still using mine🙂
What cable did you replace it with?
Konsi cable liya purane ke badle, bhai ?
Your review was one of the main reason I gained interest in Blon bl03. And now I use them almost everyday for casual to intense listening.
Keep uploading such reviews.
Glad to hear you like them 😊
did you find any fitting issues? they don't fit right in most of the ears apparently.
In my case, I had no issues. They fit perfectly 🙂
Hey there! Really enjoyed your video, but I've got a question for you. I'm in for some IEMs for daily use, including calls with a mic, and I'm looking for a balanced sound with a bit of bass, nothing too overwhelming. My budget is under 2000. Since this is my first time buying IEMs, could you recommend the best ones for my needs? Thanks in advance!
This one is great for your use. It's comfortable to listen to and the inline mic is decent for calls. 🙂
You can also try the CCA CRA for a good experience. amzn.to/43a44D0
hello i have a blon bl 03 for a year now and its still good for my daily heavy usage i want to buy a new iem which is an upgrade from the blon bl 03 i really love the sound and especially the bass of the blon can you recommend an upgrade from the blon bl 03
The Tin T2 can be a good upgrade. The T2 Plus would be better.
ykw off topic but i still use the cb gk 16 you may remember me from the past commenting on your videos and stuff. I actually recently put form in my keyboard (firefly cb gk 16) and istg it made my typing so stable and it canceled the hollowness it had and for some reason blue sound good. When i typed earlier on this i usually miss typed here and there getting 70-93% accuracy but after putting foam in this my accuracy sky rocketed to 98-100% CONSISTENT so my take is put foam in the keyboard regardless of what switch the typing experience and sound changed tremendously
Yeah, modding a keyboard is a great and cheap way to upgrade the experience
I'm really confused with all the options available in budget segment. I have these in mind Tangzu waner
7hz zero 7hz zero 2
Moondrop ch ii
Kz castor
Truthear Gate
Blon bl03
My profile is natural sounding with more than enough bass(not a bass head) bass should not hamper vocals or instruments. Please suggest the one im looking for in this segment and my range is under 2.5k and thanks
The Castor has good sharpness in the top end. But the Moondrop CHU 2 may be better
Any suggestion for bluethooth adaptor that will suit these?? I love these and if I can upgrade these to be wireless it would be cherry on top
This may be good, but it's more expensive than the earphones themselves 😅 amzn.to/3OXlDjZ
Make sure to NOT let them sit in the sun, the glue will soften, and the shell come apart aside of that they are insanely good (if you get a good fit.)
Oh, thanks for the warning 😯🤝🏾
@@TheHopelessGeek makes sense when you think about it, a metal frame is a good heat spreader, after all.^^ Luckily I could get a refund from Amazon to order the next set.
Right. It's good you realised it before the return period 😅👍🏽
Bought them about a year ago after watching ur review, the cable gave up after about 5 months of use but i did use them very roughly, I bought a new cable for about ₹500 they're now working great ,the only complaint i have is the weight after using other lighter iems these r considerably heavy and create pressure points on the ear
They're still great for beginners but other iems around the same or lower prices are more comfortable (atleast for me) and achieve better technicalities imo
Yes, they're quite good 😊
which ones would you suggest keeping comfort in mind?
@@shubhidimri truthear hola is the best imo, they're very light
What Cable did you bought?
Thanks for the video. this is one of the reason for me to buy these, great pair of iems by the way.
Yeah, they're quite good 🙂👍🏽
Hey , Can I get the name of equalizer apps you're using at 2:11 and 2:17 ? Also would a normal user enjoy listening to music on IEMs like these ? Fantastic review btw !
It's called the Wavelet app. It requires a little bit of a setup. I've covered it here - ruclips.net/video/awpQVl5NHw8/видео.html
@@TheHopelessGeek yeah I am using the app , It's amazing, I recently bought my first iem , KZ ZSN Pro X , It's amazing how it can be tuned
I bought these only a month ago and paid £15 which is an absolute bargain, as far as I am concerned. I love them.
Yes, they're a great purchase ☺️
Can you suggest which iem best.
For gaming. I am so confused.
Moondrop chu 2 or dsp
Blonbl03.
Kz zsn pro.
I've been quite happy with the BLONs for everything, from calls to gaming to music. It's a great all-rounder for entry level IEM enthusiasts
For an IEM under $30, these sound like they are still around $150 to even almost $200. I have the Gizaudio Chopin and they sound similar, very smooth and crisp with a wide sound stage.
Yes, these budget IEMs are so dope!
I still love my old blonde bl03 too ! however I wish to check those latest one for bigger soundstage TRUTHEAR HEXA and TRUTHEAR ZERO RED
Hm.. maybe I should look at some of those too 🙂
Wait, you are using the wavelet tuning for the verum one and not the specific profile made for them?
You could use the specific EQ made for the earphones. But I found that using other presets sometimes gives a different, nicer sound output.
Any recommendations for best IEM under 2500?....I'm searching for one 😅
How long does Blond BL3 last in terms of yrs?
Well, there are a lot of them out there, so I may not know which is that *best* , but the BL03 has been beyond satisfactory so far, in the past 3 years.
These questions 😂😂😂 "how blue is the sky?"
Hello, I am exploring IEM's for the first time. For around 2k, the Moondrop Chu 2 or the Blon Bl03, which would you suggest
Moondrop chu may be a more balanced one to explore. You can consider it. I'm still quite satisfied with my BL03 though
@@TheHopelessGeek thanks brother for the suggestion
No problem 🙂. If you get them, let me know how it sounds
Are these better than Truth hear hola’s in base and comfort for long listening hours?
I haven't tried the truthear ones. I've heard good things, but these suffice my needs. I don't get see a reason to upgrade 👍🏽
Hey man, just a friendly suggestion: You should checkout the other earphones in this price range and compare them before recommending one to others. Like the Truthear Hola, Tangzu Wan'ear, 7Hz Salnotes, and the other popular ones.
Because everyone wants the best they can get for the price. And providing a comparison will help a buyer make an informed purchase and get what they prefer.
Okay, I will try to get some of those to compare
Bt these are better than the ones u mentioned... Bt that is my opinion
Do you mean, the BL03 is better than the ones listed above?
@@lestercardoz8976 Have you personally tried the others?
Yes
Yo 7z salnotes zero or blon bl03 which is best (I'm not a fan of punchy bass) can you recommend pls
The Salnotes one will have better mid range for human voice. It might also work slightly better for gaming.
Does blon 03 soundtage is wide? Im looking for wide sound iem, would you recommend me any?
It's quite wide for this price. You can consider this. If you'd like a smaller IEM with slightly stronger bass, consider the Moondrop CHU 2. But it doesn't have a mic.
What about the stock wire quality and eartips? Are they good or I have to buy them separately for better performance.
I'm still using them with the stock cable and eartips. The cable could have been a bit softer, but no issues quality-wise.
Thanks for the answer, btw anyone other suggestions other than bl 03, I love slightly detailed and little bit bass sound.
Try some from KZ. Their ZSN Pro have much higher saturation for treble and bass. Not my type, but maybe those who like that extra sharpness would enjoy this. amzn.to/3QRWJ6M
Bro i wanted to purchase earphones and i cae across iems just recently and i really liked how the final e1000 looks but i can compromise looks (I don't like how the usual IEMs look but these blon ones are fine)for better gaming performance can you suggest some better gaming iems under or around 2k
I've gamed with these. They're quite good. Nice sound stage with good stereo separation. You could also consider other options, like the Salnotes Zero with mic. amzn.to/3Jgw66R
@@TheHopelessGeek thanks
🙂👍🏽no problem
Hello. Im using iPhone. Suggest me a good quality and budget friendly DAC
If you're on the older lighting port iPhones, here's one: amzn.to/481DTQy
For USB-C, this would be better: amzn.to/3tqIA7A
Moondrop Chu2 or This BL O3ow in 2024!?? Please suggest...
I think the Chu 2 will be better. I will test it at some point to confirm.
@@TheHopelessGeek Thanks so much big fan of your videos just crisp and straight to the point like your instant replies to the subscribers queries in comment!!
😊🙏🏽happy to help. I'll make the Moondrop comparison video in the coming weeks for more details
The build quality of this set is not very good, my bl03's housing felt apart after 15 months. It's pretty old too and there are so many better iems now in this price range.
Mine seem to be going strong till date. Been like 3 years now. Which other IEMs do you suggest?
@TheHopelessGeek 3 years? I remember just taking it out, and the housing just felt apart lol.
I got the Truthear Hola as a replacement, and the build quality is great for its price (3D-printed housing for $18 is insane value). It's discontinued, but I heard the TE Gate is just as good.
I've heard it's good, too. Maybe I should check this
my blon bl03 cable is going bad but the replacement cable costs 1,000
so im thinking should i buy the cable or truehear hola, how is hola compared to blon, i like to have a blanced sound signature
I'm not aware of the truehear one. But it may be worth checking out of the cable itself is overpriced
bhai i want to buy an iem can you recomend me some good ones ?! Are these the best ?!
These are an easy recommendation for beginners, alongside a few others, like the KZ ZSN Pro for saturation lovers.
@@TheHopelessGeek ok i will buy these
🙂👍🏼cool!
Bro I got same time as you did, now it's in much worse condition than yours . The colour is worn out, cable damaged , bought xinhs cable that also damaged, and i built a DIY one, no filters in the nozzles, shells opened up couple of times. Still sounds good but with EQ. Stock sound is more midbassy, and lacks treble air.
Oh, mine still seems to be in good condition. Strange 🤔
What about Tangzu Warner S.G compared to this??
The Waner S.G Studio sounds better to me, but with lesser bass
What other IEM is similar to Blon bl03 or is Blon successors worth it?
I think the Tin T2 are a good option. Moondrop chu 2 is a nice too.
Man i love the soundstage of blon bl 03 am on my 3rd pair since the casing is poorly pasted. So what would you recommend under similar sound stage like blon
Oh, I didn't realise that casing is a weak point here. Mine seems to have held up so far. I haven't tried many others like it, but you can achieve a similar sound stage using the *Wavelet* equaliser BL03 preset on another IEM.
I read that zero: 2 is similar and better, I ordered one
I see. Let me know how it performs
Tangzu Wan'er sg or Blon BL 03 which is best under 2100 INR?
I haven't tried the other one, but I still don't see a reason to replace my BLONs
I am very new to iems (don't have any experience of using them)
Listen to songs they are mostly Bollywood songs and some RUclips videos. Are iems good for these?
I use poco f1 -Do I need an external amplifier or something?
Yes, you can use these IEMs with your phone directly for those use cases. No amplifier necessary 🙂
@@TheHopelessGeek Thanks for the reply and one more thing, after purchasing,do I need to customise them in any way or they are good to use straight out of the box?
I've been using them as is out of the box. They're fine 🙂👍🏽
@@TheHopelessGeek one last question,I heard that the medium tier phones' 3.5mm jack doesn't have enough output impedance.Does this change anything?
Hm..that may be true. The BL03 is pretty easy to drive, but yeah. If your phone has a mediocre DAC, you might need one of those USB adaptors to enhance it
I had the Oppoty to try this in an audio shop recently so i bought one home. Time to let music burn!
😂haha. Hope you like using them 👍🏽
im confused bw these and moondrop chu 2? is it worth buying them now?
I haven't compared this to the moondrop chu 2. But I'm quite happy with these. They are comfortable, sound great, and have good stereo separation. So I don't have a reason to upgrade them.👍🏽
@@TheHopelessGeek i got them, they are good but did u face and static noise like buzzin when connected to laptop or any PC? i dint have that in starting days but its there :(
Sometimes on my PC, yes. But I mostly used them on battery powered tech, and I don't notice it there.
These may be a little bit sensitive to electrostatic noise. Try using some filter adapter to reduce it.
@@TheHopelessGeek any adapter in specific that you can recommend?
Btw thanks for the reply
You can also try to adjust the audio device properties from Windows to see if it helps. It works great to reduce mic noise but not sure about the earphone hissing.
Hey, Is it necessary to purchase DAC If i use them on my pc?
They are fairly easy to drive, so they can work directly from the 3.5mm port. If you aren't happy with how the PC handles them, you may need a small external amp.
@@TheHopelessGeek ok, thank you
🙂👍🏼no problem
My bl03 started to rust and turned green inside part and some spots in exterior too.
I see. How long have you been using it?
Is blon bl-03 good for watching web series or movies?
Yes, it's quite good👍🏽

@@harishkannan2054ya its good..i don't know about the easy 7day exchange,,but for ordering its best ,only taked 3-4 day range...i have purchased a local earphones from them not an high end...now im looking for this blon 03..its not leaving from my mind 😅
My Blon 03's causing issue. Right channel is creating low volume. And it's been only 4 months.
Damn 🙁. Mine still works like day 1. I guess maybe you got a bad unit?
@TheHopelessGeek yeah i think so.
Maybe you can claim a replacement
Maybe wire is the problem.
i'm confused even though IEM are wired why do they disconnect because its not like they can be used wirelessly then why give the disconnecting ear buds
So that Cables can be replaced
Yeah, the cables can be replaced with better ones for higher quality signals with dedicated amps. There's even a wireless module available to make these Bluetooth, if you wish 🙂
It's mostly the cables that die before any other part of an earphone. I've lost so many due to loose connections in the wires.
With replaceable cables, that isn't even a worry anymore
Plz make a video on blon bl05. Also I am a student so should I buy iem or other bluetooth earphone or headphone in about 3k rs. Plz reply as fast as possible.
I think an IEM with a mic will be the best option for you as it will suit many use cases. About the BL05, I heard the performance is a bit of a let down compared to the BL03. Not sure though.
Are they better than the moondrop chu 2?
I haven't tried the Chu 2, but I'm satisfied with these so far. Don't see a reason to upgrade 🙂
Are these iems good for watching movies when comparing to headphones i want to buy a headphones under 2000 for movies some how i ended up here
Yes, these are good for music, movies, gaming, pretty much anywhere you enjoy good vocal clarity and a slightly warm sound.
@@TheHopelessGeek oh good to know but many people complaining about the fit how should I tackle that
Oh, I didn't have any issues with the fit. But if you want a better fit, consider buying some universal memory foam eartips. That, combines with this earphone's hook-style cable, should provide a comfortable seal.👍🏼
Is it good for movies?
Yes, it's great for that. Human voice is very clear in these and great stereo seperation too.
what about 7HZ - Salnotes Zero?
I haven't tried those yet.
Blon bl03 sounds so harsh and fatiguing to ears can you recommend something other than this ?
You might want to try tuning your equaliser a bit, because in my experience, the BL03 is much tamer than some of the KZ earphones in terms of harshness.
Alternatively, you can consider the Salnotes Zero around the same price. amzn.to/49WhbcO
@@TheHopelessGeek what about soundmagic e11c is it good compared to blons..i have used es18 in the past liked them looking for something similar in iems
I haven't used those. They might be good. Soundmagic makes good stuff

its better bl 07?
I haven't tried the BL07 yet, but I'm still quite happy with the BL03 👍🏾
I just wish they weren't metal. I dislike metal against my ears, much prefer plastic or resin. Still for $30 I ordered them just to try.
I can see what you mean, but these were fine in my ears. The metal can be a bit cold when you wear it in winter mornings, but it'll warm up to your body temperature soon enough 😅
metal construct gives them their distinctive sound

Budding Audiophile greetings
Hellooo
Hello 👋🏼
How different are iems ? Like the difference I have 600inr earphones in that comparison
IEMs usually have a much wider sound representation and better clarity, especially in vocals. There's a noticeable difference between regular earphones and this one.
