Rusty Nail is a marvelous song and the Nemophila ladies do X Japan proud in this cover capturing the energy and emotion of the original while adding their touch as always!SAKI singing along in the vids always makes me smile! perhaps no one I've heard cover X has gotten closer to Toshi's emotion, Mayu is a gem of a singer! Tamu is awesome in Yoshiki footsteps! the guitars are great tributes to Pata and hide, and Hazuki's solo is wonderful! Hara -san's bottom is solid as Heath!

After High School, Thunder in the East by Loudness was, and still is one of my favorite albums of all time. That was 30+ years ago. Nemophila is as good and as special as Loudness. If these ladies were around at that time, I would have followed them around the world as a male groupie!! I'm way too old and broken down to do that now, but if they ever come to Detroit, don't be surprised to see an old, fat, balding guy in the crowd really enjoying the show, reliving his youth as best as he can!!! I can't wait for a full length LP!! I want MORE!! Much 💗 to SAKI!! She's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
Know what I love about Nemophila, even beyond their amazing talent? That they're showing young girls (like my 7 year old daughter, who loves them) that you don't have to sell sex or have some dress-up gimmick to make it as a female artist. They're just at the top of the metal genre right now in terms of talent, and I truly hope they become a worldwide sensation. When they do a US tour, we'll be there. Guaranteed.
Have you shown your daughter Lovebites as well? I'm sure she would love them as well. They do wear dresses, but that doesn't take away from their incredible musical skills.
Another awesome Nemophila cover - of course all their covers are great, but the ladies do seem to have a special affinity for X-Japan songs as this and Kurenai are two of their best.

Well, they are just GOOD! A true Supergroup, who actually discovered themselves. Got together to do demos for Mayu due her band breaking up. They found that they like each other, play well together, and people liked them! I think a bonus for them was finding out that the "western barbarians" also liked them. They said they can't wait to perform in Europe, me(?) hoping they will include LA.
These ladies continue to amaze me, so much talent and beauty ! I would crawl over broken glass to see them live. Rock is in good hands in Japan. ❤️from🇨🇦
