That shoot looked fantastic. I wish you would do an episode about your shotguns that you take to these shoots and possible the equipment that your other sportsman shoot.
I enjoy doing the beating and some shooting when I can. Having been shooting some 50 plus years, I gained a love of muzzle loading shotguns. So, I prefer using them on the shoots I attend. For me, it's more about the challenge! Taking a high bird with a muzzle loader is more satisfying than when I take one with my SxS hammer gun. A great video and clearly there was some good shooting, will look forward to watching more when I can.
I’ve always wanted to try a traditional English driven shoot. I’ve only ever hunted wild birds in northern Canada. Ruffled grouse, spruce grouse, ducks and geese. Though I do love walking and flushing grouse out in the woods, it makes for some heart pounding snap shots. My next shotgun is definitely going to be a side by side.
not sure if anyone gives a damn but if you're stoned like me atm you can watch all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my brother for the last weeks :)
Thanks Ian for another great video. Hope to make it over there for some adventures of my own in the next year or two. Will have to settle for whitetail (Virginia deer?) hunting in Kentucky starting Saturday.
Here in Spain hunters dress like homeless, they typically use their most worn out clothes... in UK, they dress up like they were attending a wedding... curious
This is animal abuse freaking stooppppp. Naah just kidding make sure to cook em wel. And I fkin hate those hunt saboteurs. They're all just virtue signalling folks who don't have a life. How do you deal with them??
It’s not damaging to the environment the current carrying capacity for the area is too low to maintain the pheasants population so if they don’t cull a number of them then far far more will die from predators starvation and over population and most of the woods and wildlife in England and southern wales is only there because of sportmen maintaining and safe guarding land during the late 1800s and early 1900s if not for them England would have no woods no wildlife and very little area for animals
What an absolutely stunning film. Beautiful scenery, guns, vibe, and presentation of traditional British estate game shooting! Well done.....
Throughly enjoyed that brilliant. I like the coat❤
Add to my bucket list....pheasant hunt UK style....

I would like to hear about the makes & gauges of the shotguns as well as the loads.

Un sogno! fantastico..
American here. Are Brits allowed to buy guns and open carry like in the countryside? This is awesome seeing this type of sport.
What is name and contact information for the lodge/outfitter? Thank you.
Great video. Good to see you shooting a pair of side by sides, what are they?
Thank you, they are AyA No.1 De Luxe :)
Hello can anyone tell us which cartiedges are they using.

Yeah fuck uk
After seeing this, I think I need an assistant to reload and keep a fresh gun in my hands. My Turkish O/U is out of place at a shoot like that.
What shotgun cartridge did you use on this day, looks awesome!
Harry Bryant Hull Cartridge Imperial Game 28g 4s
Sir I need your guidence
Sir why I miss the bird
its for rich people bored game
Das hat ja wohl mit Jagt wenig zu tun.
How these guns choked for such high shots? F/F? Cheers.
Many game guns are choked full and 3/4.
Another absolute screamer of a video.

Cruel and massively damaging to the environment, on top of that have any of you looked in the mirror recently. LOL!! Thank you Chris Packham
