When i was overseas, if i had packed differently i would have packed less clothing and more soft towels & linens. I wore the same thing often. Laundry took longer there, so I needed more non clothing stuff. Comfort and practical comforts will be more important than esthetics.
Duty fees, import tax, and relative new item tax are interesting facts to share. For example: if the container fee is $3000 for one large UHaul sized shipment, and each pension holding immagrant can have one container without paying import tax, than it is good to know the new tax compatibility? In some places there is a 100% tax on luxury items, cars, or electronics. Any item with 100% tax NEEDS to be in that container.

The containers are 20 feet. and 40 feet. The duties on a container were around $2000.00, but the duties on our 2017 Dodge caravan would be $5600.00.
