Because he isn't a spectacular d-man in the mold of Makar or Hughes, he was underrated. D-men like him are extremely rare nowadays. He's like the dominating d-men from the 90s. Most guys like that today aren't good enough skaters for the new NHL. And when one is available, he slips to 11th! Cellibrini AND Dickinson, amazing. The guy is huge, physical, excellent defensively and puts up great numbers offensively, looks like a great leader. I would kill to have a guy like him with my Habs. Today's defensemen all seem to have something missing. The top d-men in the league are great but they just don't have the size and physicality.
