The graphics really helped give a scale to these massive ships. Really cool technology. Didn’t know how well thought out this was, but it makes sense to optimize the process.

Formally being stationed on an aircraft carrier (Abraham Lincoln CVN - 72, AO3, G-3/WEPS, 1997-2001). I am in total awww with the size of this ship. I thought an aircraft carrier was huge until I saw how big super takers actually were up close in person. And now this ship. But don’t be mistaken. It still can be taken out by a huge wave. That ocean ain’t no joke.
Edit: Though that is one hell of an anchor system. Never seen anything like that before.

I wish they would add more to how much it can power. "It can power a city of 7 million people" I don't know if it is lots or not...we don't get all the info.

3:36 Produces 5.3 million tons PER YEAR. According to this video a city of 7million uses about 5.3 million tons of LNG per year. At first I thought it was to power a city of 7 million for a year,,, nope. After listening again it just says “satisfy the needs”.

In Australia we give away our natural gas for free to companies like Santos. They then sell about 80% of it overseas. The other 20% they sell back to us a price so inflated that the Australian people pay the highest price in the world for household gas. And because we give it away for free, this is no exaggeration, we give out gas away for FREE, and because only 20% is slated for sale to Australia we now have a gas shortage. Not an actual shortage because we have more natural gas than any other country, but a shortage because they will only sell 20% of it back to us..Many of our former politicians who signed these gas deals coincidentally now have executive positions with Santos. We also have the largest deposits of iron ore of any country. But we don't have one single steel mill in Australia..Because...ummm...the price of electricity is too high to run steel mills. I challenge you to find a government on earth that cares less for their citizens as the Australian government.
